Will the old debt of 7.5 years be automatically removed or do I have to do something in the affirmative to make it happen; like write a letter to all three credit agencies?

My Amex account keeps bouncing around. First it was turned over to United Recovery Systems. I asked for debt validation and received a 3" stack of statements. I talked to them and asked to settle the account. They said "make an offer." I made an offer with the funds I had in hand, which was about 40% of the balance, on a balance of over $15k. They made me submit all my household financial info with my offer, even though this debt is in my name only and my spouse was not an authorized user.

i'll admit i screwed up, i bought a $30 shirt from mens wearhouse on my card and i'm really good about paying off my stuff, i just simply forgot about it. moved the day after and had a lot of things going on (in the military) etc etc. a couple years later i finally decide to check out my credit report and see it on there. 30 turned into 218, then "written off" not sure what that means. but it says it was purchased by another lender. who is lvnv funding llc.

halo everyone i am new here and would like to ask some advise to you guys about some debt happened 24 years ago, but this problem happent in Hong Kong the story is like this My father was An Indonesian, and in 1970 he brought his wife (my mom) and my sister to Hongkong and doing some business and stay in hongkong. i and my brother was born in hongkong, and after 16 years, in 1985 my father business gone really bad and he cannot pay back a loan. the loan was made with a local bank and our house (flat actually) was collateral for that loan.

I was wondering if this was the case and also, is my spouse responsible for my CC debt. She is not a cosigner and all debts are in my name Thanks

I have been doing alot of reading on debt. I have my credit report and added all my debt up and its only 4,555.00 and a lot of them are small amounts so i dont think i should consolidate. I would like to negotiate with the collection people. I would like to get them to settle with me with me paying just a % of what i owe and agreeing to remove the item from my report. A lot of these are 4-6 yrs old so they will be falling off in a year or 2 but i need to do something now. Where can i find a good proposial letter to send them?

Any chance to get loans again if I fail to make repayments?

I have the following pay day loans in South Carolina They are store front Check into cash $300- I have been renewing for the past 8 months Check N Go 2 checks for $300 each for a total of $600- I have been renewing for the past 8 months Due to circumstance with my soon to be ex husband I can not pay these any longer. What happens if I defualt on these? What happens if i put a stop payment on the checks?

I received a deposit for 200 on April 9, Now I see a debit in the amount of 60.00 for 4/20. I never authorized this transaction. I don't en know who these people are. How do I get in touch with them to get it straightened out?
