MCM cr-help me sue 'em!!!!!

17 years 1 month ago
I have a few questions regarding cr..ca..ect. Please help if you can: I had a charge card charged off and bought by midland credit management(aka:jdb) in 11/04. My finances immproved, and the account was paid 5/06 and referenced that way on my cr. All sounds good so far but here's the kicker: MCM has a different date of delinquency than original creditor by about a year. OC is estimated to delete 5/2010, while MCM is estimated to delete 4/2011. is this not illegal?

FCNB cc debt

17 years 1 month ago
Help! Is there a way out? I had a fcnb credit card with a credit limit of 300. On a limited budget, I made minimum payments. At some point the finance charge put it over the limit, so then they added monthly over the limit fees. My payment has gone from $30 to closed to $80 with no end in sight. The balance is now at $3,000. I missed one payment a year ago so about once a month I get a call at work from someone at Platinum Recovery Systems. Since that one missed payment, I make a payment every month, so I don't understand why they call so much.

Never Paid My Debts, Never Dealt With the Collectors, Nothing Happened

17 years 1 month ago
In 2001, I lost a job and couldn't pay credit card debt I had -- about 14,000 dollars. By the time I was in position to pay again, the debts had been sold to 3rd party collectors. The dregs of 3rd party collectors, too (Asset Acceptance, Midland, etc). I will unashamedly say that these bottom feeding investors will get nothing from me. I never answered their phone calls. Never replied to their letters. Never asked for validation. I just ignored them.

Please...... Debt Settlement Experience Wanted

17 years 1 month ago
Hello, I have been recently considering DIY debt settlement to eliminate my $44K debt with 6 credit card companies. These credit cards are all in my name and are current. See below. 1) Citi Diamond Card = 13K 2) Citi Platinum Card = 9K 3) Chase = 6K 4) Chase = 6K 5) US Bank = 6K 6) Citi Financial Services = 4K (Received for Furniture Purchase) After running a credit report on myself, I found my FICO to be 655 w/ a Debt to Credit Ratio of 79%.

Original Creditor Verified Account not mine

17 years 1 month ago
I am currently being sued by a JDB for a credit card account that I never had or used. I disputed the account number as not mine with the credit bureau and the result came back verified. How can an original creditor verify an account number as mine if it's not mine. I've had several different accounts with the original creditor but the one I am being sued for isn't one of them. How do I go about fixing this problem with the credit bureau? Keep disputing it? By what means does the credit bureau use to verify a disputed account?

mcm debt reporting

17 years 1 month ago
I had a charge card that went into collections...it was charged off and eventually sold to midland credit management. This account was paid off in 5/2006. But the problem I have is how it is reported on my credit report. It is estimated to delete a year after the original creditor..now ain't that a shocker! Also, MCM did an account review inquiry 2 years after it was reported closed. Can they do that?

What to do about a credit card and 16 year old

17 years 1 month ago
I didn't know where to post this and hope that someone could help. My son got a prepaid credit card in the mail on Sat. It was sent from a company called netspend out of Austin TX. I called them and it took forever to even get a human on the phone. I wanted my sons information taken off of their system. He is only 16. But they wanted to talk to him because he was the cardholder. I then told them that they would not be speaking to him because he is under 18 and I was his parent. They then told me that they had to talk to him to remove him from the system.

original loan documentation

17 years 1 month ago
in my recent phone call from a PDL they always bring up a couple of statements that i dont know how to respond too. One is that the original loan documentations say that i will go by there state laws and forego California state laws around dfered payment loans. The other is that they will not send any mail to my house because they are an internet based company. any help with these 2 arguments i would appreciate since i dont think they will stop calling anytime soon, i keep telling them to sue me that i will not pay any more money 1500 for a 500 loan is way to much.
