Hello, I cosigned on a car that was repossesed and now the creditors who work for capitol one auto ae coming after me with the possibility of garnishing my check. I did this as a favor and never drove the car what are my options. I was offered a settlement but the the bank declined me a loan. Any help would be appreciated. I live in illinois if thats any help.

I have a couple of PDL's in Texas.  I believe they are both CSO's.  I am trying to get some info on what to do to get rid of them.  Does anyone know if they will work with you on a payment plan? Advance America- $900 The Cash Store - $1350 I have been paying the fees to extend at The Cash Store and paying off Advance America and then renewing.  After reading through a lot of the posts it seems to be more difficult to take care of these in Texas. Any feedback would be appreciated.

 I have been getting auto dialed calls (which alot of you probably have also) on my cell phone about auto warrenty insurance. Or this is your last chance to get warrenty insurance. Well I was pissed one day that all 4 of our cellphones got calls, so I collected the numbers that dialed our phone and called the FCC and made a complaint. Well the FCC got back to me today and said the name of the company and that it was fraud and they were turning ALL of their complaints over to the FTC. So if you have received calls like this and want them to stop call the FTC and make a complaint.

This cc was in my husband's name, and has not been used or paid on in over 10 years. We are in Texas. Today he was served with papers that he is being sued by Wolpoff & Abramson (plaintiff listed as Discover Bank). I know we need to answer the suit. The suit says: 1. Plaintiff requests discovery be conducted at Level 1. ???? 2. Defendant's failure to honor payment obligations ... as shown in exhibit A. -- Exhibit A is a blank piece of paper with Exhibit A written on the bottom. 3.

Is it better to use a reputable payday loan consolidation company or work out a repayment plan on your own.  Didn't know if it wuld be better for a company to bargain on your behalf.  Are there legit companies that do this?
