I'm in process of working on settlements with CC but if I cannot work out acceptable and affordables deals I'll have to file ch.13 my fear is that for 5 years I'm being watched, I have to send taxes to trustee every year I'm afraid that if my salary will increase it will be taken by trustee if I have decent bonus at the end of the year it will be taken by trustee, I was told by attorney that as long I pay my scheduled monthly payment to trustee no one is going to look how my financial situation is changing over this 5 years and it runs on "auto-pilot" he said he never saw trustee going after p

I took out a car title loan from Speedy Cash in the amount of $2500 and my scheduled payments are $206 a month. Anyway, I've been paying for over a year now and I still owe about $2400. When I'm done paying everything off I will have paid over $9000. This ridiculous but I can't do anything about it cause I didn't read the entire contract. Who has time for that and they sure didn't mention anything about an extremely high interest. How can I get out of this? Is there a legal way I can do it? I'm broke for paying these crooks!!!

I'm getting at least one call a day from different collection agencies for debts that are not associated with me. There have been numerous agencies and I haven't been logging the company names. One person they are asking for is a former owner my house (they sold it in 2002) and they are doing a reverse lookup on my address to get my phone number. I have repeatedly stated that I do not know who they are and to stop calling my residence. The calls have not yet ceased. The other person they are asking for I have no idea who they are.

hello; Citibank is one of my last biggest creditors to work at settling with. Unfortunately I owe $25K, and won't have the funds to settle (I am assuming I will need 50%, but hope I am overestimating) until November of this year. Currently I am about to hit the 150 days past due mark. When I was making my minimum payments on time, my payments were over $450 per month. Citibank is offering a 0% interest for 12 months, and payments will be $258.00 per month. Since I don't have the funds to settle, I am going to take this offer.

i got a call from a CA trying to collect on an account I've been paying off another CA for over a year. This is for Bank of America. i know i shouldn't be paying two CAs. so BoA referred me to this originial CA i've been paying over a year ago. is it possible BoA referred me again to another CA? if so, does this mean the original CA has paid them nothing toward the claim?

If I close my bank account on the 6 online payday loans what legal issues will I have?

Do they look at your income when you are trying to settle or do they not care. In all the settlements that I have read about so far income is not brought up.. I still have a very good income but have over extended myself... I make around 350000 year but have 150000 in boa line of credit and 40000 ae cc. Im around 45 day late and calls come in all day long but no settlement offer. Do I need to call and ask them for a settlement because i have not about a settlement offer... Not help please

Does anyone know if I can send a letter to the OC to stop calling me and only contact me via writing? Do I send the same cease and desist that is sent to CA's? (FYI: I'm 90 days out on all accounts)
