How do you know if an internet company is lincensed in TN

can a judgment be filed against me when I already went into bankruptcy but it has not been discharged yet?

Hello, I am looking for help to take back control over my bank account! I had a little trouble around Christmas and took out several internet payday loans to get myself out of the retail whole. (I know I know) I'm a single mom of two and wanted my boys to have a good Christmas...I couldn't help it! I have paid the companies every two weeks by having them draft from my account once due. I am thinking now that this is overkill and they have been paid! How can I get them to stop?! Please help! I live in Tennesse.

I got a Title Loan May 2012. Defaulted in December 2012. I received a letter to cure or they will repossess my vehicle. I sent them a settlement letter original loan being $2000. Do you think they will settle and how much should I offer with a $2000 loan? Or should have them take my vehicle? Thanks

I've got loans with Mobiloans and Cashwell in South Carolina. From the research I've done, it looks like Mobiloans is unlicensed in this state. I have paid them $395 of a $400 loan, so I am comfortable stopping the ACH on that one. Has anyone heard of Cashwell? I can't find it in any forums, and it seems legitimate so far. Anyone have any information?

So, we all know that Wesrern Sky is bogus in terms of state and federal law. They cannot garnish wages or take you to court. They can't do anything but bluff and threaten. Here is my question: could you, hypothetically, take out a loan with Western Sky with the full intent if not paying them a dime? You would, of course, open a bank account specifically for this, or close your account after receiving the money. I don't plan on doing this. Just curious what you guys think of this scenario.

I recently have lost hours at work and I am having a hard time paying back my payday loans. I live in North Carolina. I have borrowed form great plains lending, mobiloans, and plain green lending. I have only paid about half of the amount back for each company. They have debited my accouunt which I know by now it is in the negative and the bank will probably close my account. I need some type of help because I do not want to be in breach of my contract with them and I would like to pay them back.
