I settled a small GAP/GEcredit card debt 2 years ago and it affects my credit score, I did not know at the time that the settlement affects my score, I am willing to pay that $111, that was settled, in order to delete it, How do I go about it?
I have a loan with Mobiloans and with all the fees I have paid over the principal amount.
Total deposited: $600 Total paid: $830
With the information received on this forum, I sent them a letter letting them know that I am aware they are an illegal lender and that I will not be making anymore payments to this account.
I hope this gets resolved.
I sent them an email today with the following:
To whom it may concern,
It has come to my attention that your company is unlicensed and illegal in my state.
I just spoke with citi to try and settle a card that is past due by 3 years now. They will settle but wont delete from the credit report. So I told them I needed to look it over. Next year is when the SOL ends and they cannot do anything. I am debating on whether I should risk another year or just settle and let the settlement hurt me for another 7 years.
I received my bank statement several days ago to find that several online payday loan companies had issued me unauthorized payday loans and had started taking payments out of my accout. I had my account closed and my bank issued disputes on all of the transactions. I have also filed complaints throught the FTC as well as had my social security number flagged through all three credit bureaus. My bank returned any deposits that were made to my account and reversed all debits from these companies. This is my question: What happens now?
I had closed my bank account & opened a new one. They did not have my new acct info...... But I just had the try to take out $150!!?? I had this loan since oct 2011 for $400, I have paid back over $2,000. Since I took this loan from them, I have had numerous hacking incidents into my acct. I don't know if its just a coincidence or not. I need help!! I don't know what to do!!??
My home was foreclosed on two years ago. I have just found the deed issued when the bank took over the home. There is a check box that says that there were no liens on the property. This document was signed by the bank's attorney. Their statement is not true and the IRS and school loan agencies are coming after the money I owed. Do I have any recourse in getting those leans satisfied by the foreclosure bank?
