I wish I had seen you all complaints before I attempt to pay this debt. Any information, would be greatly appreciated. I went into default with my Capital One Bank credit card. A few month ago, I receive court paper being sued by Pressler & Pressler. Saying that North Star Capital Acquistion is the new owners of Capital One Bank (which I thought Capital One Bank was still around). I have made an agreement with Pressler & Pressler to Pay $200.00 a month, I have already made some payments. Until I saw this fraud complaints from a lot of people.

Hello: Just a quick one - I just printed out my DV letter, and was about to sign it when I remembered someone on here telling me NOT to. Can I just print out my name as my signature? Would that somehow invalidate the letter? I just want to make sure I have this 100% before I head off to the post office. Thanks again, Patti

After reading through numerous posts, I'm still a bit confused on Wisconsin's PDL laws. I reviewed the laws for various states, and WI sounds like any and all on line loans are legal as long as the company didn't solicit the person. In other words, since I went on line and looked for loans, WI would recognize them all as legal? If anyone knows if I'm reading that correctly or not, could you please let me know? I'm in way over my head and despertely need a way out. I don't know which route to take until I know the laws.

Hello, I've always wondered, if you have $20,000 in debt over a number of differenct accounts and you consolidate into one account for $20,000, does that improve your score and rating? My husband wants to do that but with our debt to income ratio already high with late pays I don't believe we'd qualify for anything or if it would even help us.

I filled out an application with outback bucks to see how much I could get on a payday loan and what the terms would be. I signed an application only. In never saw a contract or anything like that. I decided not to go through with the payday loan but later that week they deposited the money in my account anyway. I tried to call all of the numibers listed on the website but they put me on hold and after about 15 minutes the calls get disconnected. Now they are withdrawing money from my account and I have no idea when these transactions will take place so they are overdrawing my account.

So on friday is the day that i was supposed to go pay on pdl- I closed my account. Is the next step to call them and setup some kind of arrangement, what happens next?

I came across "mailing instructions" on the site. First it says to sign your letter. I've read several times here people say to not sign so the CA can't use your sig to forge anything. So, if you do not sign when you send the DV is that going to cause any problems? 2nd-the mailing instruction says to not use stamps? Why not? I print my labels from the USPS site so I don't, but I'm curious why not using stamps is listed.

I was doing subcontract work in cusyomers house, but before I have finished the company which hired me went bancrupt. Owners still have some unpaid balancefor the company which hired me. Can owner pay me directly the amout I suppose to be paid. And the second question is can I put a lean on his house if I will not be paid
