Yesterday, I received a call from 775-562-0198. It was a spanish speaking recording. So I hung-up. I went to the site whocalledme.com and did a search on the above number. I soon discover that a number of people have received calls from this number and some of them informed that this is a scam to charge money to your phone. If I would have pressed a key on my phone, I would have got automatically charged. So I went to the website, reverse phone lookup and discovered that the service provider was Pac-West Telecomm.

I had a timeshare with Silverleaf. My ex and I recently were able to have them take the deed back with no penalties due to an error on the contract. We paid on it for over 5 years. I confirmed with them that it is considered a mortgage type account. I wanted them to report the good account to my credit to help boost my score. They said all they can do is write a letter but since we had 10 late payments it would hurt our credit. Can I insist they report it as if I had a house mortgage and sold the house?

I SENT LETTERS AND E-MAIL TO CASH SUPPLY STATING FEES THEY CHARGED WERE ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF OHIO AND I ONLY OWED THE PRINCPLE AMOUNT NO RESPONSE. NOW MY ACCT HAS BEEN SOLD TO AIS SERVICES AND THEY STATE I OWE 966.00 ON 500.00 BORROWED WHICH I HAVE PAID 400.00. HOW DO I PROCEED?

Okay, it is going on three weeks and I have not heard anything from My Cash Now, Payday Max, and Credit Protection Depot. They have not emailed or called. I sent in a repayment plan asking for an address to mail payments, this is odd that I have not heard from them. What is going on?

Been researching this process: How to apply for relief from a Texas default judgment, and they don't make it easy to find or understand. Is there anyone with a clue as to what the process is? Ok, so everyone knows smoking is bad. I know but sadly i have been a smoker for 16 years and it has been my friend and i hate to give it up. With the way things are now adays i cant afford to do anything anymore the one weakness is a cigerette after a meal or first thing in the morning. Its something that i truely enjoy even though i know i shouldnt. I have quit about 20 times now for a few days, a week and even a month once but i always manage to go back to my "bad friend".

Well I have already started the process, I am closing my bank account today. I have three storefront loans- Check n go- $540, one that i have been renewing for two months now, Advance America- $595- been renewing for two months, and one for quick cash-$590- I have been renewing going on four months, all of my other bills have been behind, my check is getting garnished for student loans- and i just dont know what to do- my car is going to be taken away from me, if i dont pay all my late fees -I reside in missouri, what else can I do-?

How I do get my money back? I sent money underduress of haveing my credit ruined when I had to wait for proof of payment to be sent from a storage unit and now they do not want to return my money.

I received my statement for this credit card about 2 weeks ago. I was going online to pay it and they changed the amount due. My bill is not due until 3/7 so I am not late. Can they do that. What if I hadnt checked online and mailed a paper check. Any thoughts.

I just hired an attorney to handle my loan modification and he is "validating" the debt. He told me that he could do the same thing with my credit cards. He said that the banks sold all the credit card accounts the same way they sold all the mortgage notes on the bond market. I am considering letting him handle my credit card debt as well. I pay $549 per month for the mortgage validation and there is no extra charge for the credit card validation. Has anyone tried debt validation? The attorney has been in practice for 15 years with no disciplinary history.
