Hi. Has anyone out there used Freedom Financial Management? I found one post on-line that said they are disreputable, but the company on that same web-site came back with a rebuttal stating it was a disgruntled employee. I was thinking about using them for debt reduction, but cannot find any other information on them on-line. Thank you.

I have a question. This isn't happening now but i just wanted to know. If there was a judgement against me and I live in PA which for private loans n credit cards has no wage attachment..However, i work in NJ... how would this all work as far as wage garnishment. btw the company (CA) is arrow financial for a private loan a little under 10k Their practices are evasive and they won't even send me a letter. I am just wondering if it came down to that how would that work based on my current living/working situation.

Hello, my name is Tina. I need some advice regarding wage garnishment. This paycheck began a garnishment on my wages for a very old debt from Sears that was charged off years ago. After passing to a couple of different collections agencies Dakota Bluff Financing sent me a summons which I answered, on time and sent by certified mail, requesting debt validation and verification within a designated time. Which Dakota Bluff failed to comply with until after the requested date. Quite some time later I received another summons to appear in court on the matter.

has anyone ever settle any thinks with think cash i know its not a pdl but installment plan. I was wondering if I send them a letter regarding my financial to repay the loan

I had a medical bill for $375 sent to UCB. I sent them a DV letter and heard nothing. Then I got a letter from an attorney affilitated with UCB and sent them another DV. Of note, the same person signed the green card. Anyway, today I get from the attorney an itemized statement that they are stating is debt validation. I beg to differ. What it is is a print out. At the top is stamped the date of 02/13/2009, the time and Medical Account Serv. Under that in the left hand corner is a name, but not my name, and Medical Accounting Services, Inc.

how to win @ trial with this every changin lawyers?

i had a judgement granted against me and the person whom it was granted to says they are going to garnish my wages. if i am head of household and bring home less than 500.00 a week, can my wages be garnished. this is in florida if that makes a difference.

Just thought I would put this out there for anyone concerned about the amount of months that creditors are offering for debt settlement. According to a very experience debt settlement "coach" that I work with, as of 02/01/09 the FTC is enforcing strict guidelines for all of the banks in regards to debt settlement: 3 MONTHS ONLY! If anyone has received any offers longer than 3 months after Feb 1st, I would really be interested in hearing about it! I am really bummed about this, as this totally changes my entire settlement strategy! Ughhh!
