I have been receiving phone calls from a CA that I just received the paperwork on. THey have been calling my unlisted DNC home number which was not provided to the original creditor, nor was my work phone . I only provided n my cell phone to them and they have not called it. They called my home last night 4 times between 8-9 pm. What should be my course of action with them as I have just recevied the paperwork from them on the account? Should I send them a C& D letter except through the mail

So I filed bankruptcy but my husband did not. Because of the laws, one of the loans we both got said i could not access my account online, nor could i pay over the phone, nor could they send me a statement until the bankruptcy is discharged. The amount i owe continued to go up and now that my bankruptcy is discharged they are still saying i will never be able to pay online, over the phone, or that they can never send me a statement again BUT i still have to send them payments!! is this legal and since we did not file on this loan why can they not send me a statement??

This agency has been contacting me for a while. Does any body have their mailing address?

Messaged both UCL and USFC the letters I have seen on this forum. I live in Michigan and both these PDLs are illegal in Michigan, done my research already. And just so you know, I already had my checking acct closed, not because of them but because of other reasons. So they do NOT have access to my information. I borrowed $300 from each and no payments had been made to them as of yet. Today, this is my response from them; I'll copy/paste each one and delete sensitive info. My question is, USFC seems to be on board with me just paying the $300.

Hello everyone, My name is Hannah and I'm 23-years-old. 5 years ago I started using credit cards and unfortunately was not taught the correct way to use them. Now I'm struggling with around 8,000 dollars of credit card debt and not sure what to do. I've been trying over the last year to start to pay off my cards one by one, but with the money I make my payments end up just getting eaten up by interest. I'm at a loss of what I should do. I went to my bank and they gave me no options -- they just told me to pay off my cards like it was an easy thing to do.

I have recieved notification from my employer that Pioneer submiited paperwork to garnish my wages. I have tried to reach Pioneer to no avail.. I have not recieved any notification prior to the paperwork ftom my employer. What can i do because the amount is way off??

I received a letter from the law office of Curtis O Barnes PC on February 12, 2013. Apparently this is for an account from Beneficial that went to Fortis Capital that went to Curtis Barnes. They claim the total amount I owe is 14,848.44. They claim they have written me previously, but I went back through my records and cannot find a letter that I could have even disputed the debt. They are giving me 10 days to pay the debt and said they will evaluate undertaking "reasonable" collection efforts after that.

I have a person calling me telling me that if I don't pay the amount they want me to pay that they are suing me and taking me to court. I tell them I can only pay so much and that is not good enough for them. What should I do?
