I owe $2500 on 1 credit card, $900 on another credit card, $850 on student loan, $100 on hospital bill. I'm moving into an apartment so I am having a hard time and feel unable to pay everything on time.
i was on a trip in Mexico and my husband bought me a ring from a company called Diamond international and the ring's pearl broke or loosened from the prong.
i then returned the ring and they supposedly fixed the ring but the ring was altered and i returned the ring. the person that i talked said that the credit would be returned to the credit card but never did even a year later.
now this in on my credit report i will not pay this becasue the merchandise was returned.
what can i do to get this taken off my credit report?
[color=DarkBlue][/color]This is my situation I purchased a van due to being pregnant with triplets. Long story short, the van was totaled now that I FINALLY got the GAP to pay out they have left a $3400 balance on the van. Now, we did defer two payments so we do feel that we should pay those payments which will equal about $760, we are more than willing to pay the interest also. That leaves about $2400 in late fees and interest payments that Wells Fargo wants from us. Now, keep in mind that after GAP paid $164 W.F. broke even.
is an naf arbitration allowed to arbitrate and mediate at the same phone mediation confrence with a judge in court? are both companies which is basically one company Naf ,bank of America allowed both to take me to court for same card they are trying to put a judgement on me for?
Doing a little research, I found that they can't do that, without telling the purchaser it is a disputed debt. That is fraud.

While reading the Cinncinnati bizjournal...I see that UNIFUND has expanded their business. They're now into debit cards & buying govt. bad debt. That probably will help them to keep breaking the law in their collection antics. The govt. is probably bending over backwards for them, once they buy the govt.
:cry: I just want to say that this site has helped me get through my debt problems. I have been sooo suicidal over my debt the past few months. What's helped me change my mind is this site and everytime I look at my kids. I have a 7 mo old and a 2 yr old and i just can't imagine not seeing them grow up. Everyday I feel sooo stress and like such a bad mother and wife. My situation is that I lost my job about a year ago and then had a baby.
