I was contacted by SRS collection on an old account i had with metris bank in my fustration because they called me at work and made threats i agreed to pay them 200.00 a month however can i go back and request a varifacation of this bill and a written copy of our agreement? these people are the **** and i would just like to know were i stand

I have been reading the forum and getting useful information. I have one question. I live in a particular state that says all internet payday loans are illegal. But, part of one of my payday loan contracts states that I agree to the law of the state that they are in "forsaking all others"? Does that mean that I am out of luck in dealing with them? Or, is that statement illegal? Can they sue me in their state or would they have to come to mine? Can they even sue me using that statement?

I'm very nervous , my father was served with a summons for a debt by Atlantic Credit however we're being sued by an attorney George L Cohn. The person being sued is my father however the debt is mine i made the purchases. We are in California and last payment was made in 2007. My concerns are the following how do I answer to the summons? Do I send a letter or is there a form to fill out? My father has Diabetes so he cannot be dealing with all these court things is there any way I can appear in court instead of him if necessary?
