What does anyone know about Little Loan Shoppe? I have paid $450 for a $300 loan. They have emailed me and said that they are an installment loan out of Utah. In speaking to the banking commissioner in Utah, he told me to ignore them because they are a PDL. I talked to the Utah AG, he told me to pay the additional $230 because they are an installment loan provider. Any ideas? I live in Florida and they are not licensed in Florida. Thank you!!

I received a petition in suit on open account from unifund ccr. There is no court date. They want me to fill out a request for admissions paper, to admit that the plaintiff is the assignee of and originator anf an account and admit the amount set forth in the plaintiffs petition. how do i respond?

I can't thank all of you enough! I've taken all of the advice I've found on this forum, and finally put an end to the bleeding! I live in Ohio - where new laws have further protected consumers from pdls - and have been losing my paycheck for months now, refinancing 5 pdls: Upfront Payday, Upfront Cash, Fast Money 911, Arrowhead Investment, and VC Funding. I finally took all of the steps I've read about here, and already, after one day, I have PIF from Upfront Payday, Upfront Cash, and Fast Money 911!!

This is for anyone out there that can possibly help me.... 5/6 years ago...someone took a credit card out in my name....i thought i had it cleared up with them.... Now north star capital acquistion has hired an att. In my city and is taking me to court....i guess they bought it from the bank and now trying to collect... Am trying to find out anything on them to e-mail to the att. They hired... Don't know what to do.... personal information deleted - Jason

i recieved a leteer from a collection agency called grant and weber back in 10/27/2008. the next day i mailed a debt validation letter 2 their office with a certified letter and a return receipt.from the looks of it they received my letter.now 2 day i received a statement that details the amount i owe.these people havent sent me a response with proper documentation of the account.what can i do?

I need to ask him some questions, but haven't seen him in some time?

I ran through various difficult financial issues that I had to borrow through payday loans not realizing after borrowing a small amount I was to pay 4 times that amount. I just got my discharge papers from my chapter 13 bankruptcy and some things didn't get included. I tried to pay them off by getting payday loans but now I have so many I was taking new loans out just to cover old loans. I can't do this no more. I need help so bad. Every 2 weeks I'm paying 300+ on NSF fees because I told the bank my situation and they have started auto reversals.

I currently paid off two credit cards in full and am making my final payment to American Coradius this Friday. They have been extremely helpful with me believe it or not. But I just have a few questions....since I did settle with American Coradius and am paying them a certain amount they said that once that amount goes through then they would send me information that shows I'm paid in full with them and they would send it back to Chase where my account is already closed.

I feel like lots of other people on this website, stupid. I have managed to max out my credit cards, taken personal installment loans and payday loans. I am currently over $14,000.00 in debt and looking back at my past bank statements I can't figure out where it all went wrong or how to get it corrected. I have signed up with CCCS in an attempt to get the credit card companies some payments as I am currently 4 month behind. I have stayed current with the installment loans but have been staying consistently 30 days late with my mortage payment.

In October 2008 I sent in my Validation of Debt letter to Redline by certified mail...they did not respond to my request, but in my request I stated that failure to respond to the validation within 30 days from the date of receipt that all references to this account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of deletion request be sent to me. As of yet I have not received anything from them. Can you advise what my next step should be to ensure that they send the copy of deletion.
