Does anyone know anything about the Apothaker and Assoc. They claim I owe them money for a store bill that was given to them. This bill is paid if full and I even received a check from them for over payment. I don't know if I want to send Apothaker my information.

To file under chapter 7 you must past the means test which calculates the medium income for same sized families in your state. When they average your income over the last 6 months do they take the net or gross income? What does the fine print say on this?

Help with this will be greatly appreciated!!! First off --- I live in the State of Ohio. I have had success on all my internet PDLs except this one! Back in July of this year I had taken out a $300 PDL with Quickest Cash Advance (MTE Financial). I closed my bank account and defaulted as with I was over my head in PDLs. Of course Quickest Cash Advance sent me to a collection agency called Mid America Credit Bureau stating that I owed $610. Silly me made a verbal agreement of $410 and set up 3 payments to settle it. The first payment was for $100.

My mom had added me to her American Express when i turned 18 and came to college. I used it for 2 years for study abroad and groceries etc. After I paid off my charges with my babysitting money my mom closed my cards. that was in may. Now she is having financial problems because she was between jobs. She just started a new job and isn't allowed to make the minimum payments anymore. Now NCO is calling me and harassing me and hanging up and yelling at me. My mother and I have told them numerous times that have nothing to do with the accounts. Why do they have my SSN?

anyone had any dealings with National Cash Check?? Keep getting calls from a Troy Edwards and John Mitchell(Same person?) Very rude and abusive.

From being on this board in the past I already know a little bit about what I need to do... but the 35 day grace period at chase has me stumped. I was going to close out the account and send the c & d letters- actually I dont know just what these are only that they inform the payday agencies of the need to make different arrangements- and move my direct deposit to a different account. but with the grace period chase offers the account wont really be closed... I live in Dallas, Texas.

i knew i would come back to this site. i need some help in dealing with the same situation i see a lot of other people find themselves in... i have four payday loans out. i have been planning on closing my account at chase and setting up another acct at a different bank. i have in fact already made preparations and have the account at the other bank set up. so i inquired at chase about closing my account. they have a grace period of 35 days! if i close out the account the paydays can hit and open it back up anytime during that period. so now it seems i maybe back to square one.

Over the last couple months, the interest rate on my loans has been lowered, one loan went from 6% to 5% and four loans went from 7.6% to 7.42% I even had one of my loans recalculated and will be saving $10 a month. Its a pain in the tushie paying these loans that I stupidly took out but its not hopeless, scraping, not spending, doing little extra things have all helped cover the payments.

I have not been threatened by these payday loan lenders, as I have always had the funds to pay for them, but I am finding myself with nothing left in my paycheck at the end of the week, and I can't do it anymore. I currently have 5 payday loans out, and don't even know where to begin to get these under control. I live in Maine, and have read the laws about payday loans, but I guess legallity isn't my problem, yet. I was just wondering if anyone knew a way I could consolidate these loans, or get them deffered for a period of time, just through the holidays or something...
