What do I do if I was sued by a collection agency and the attorney is no longer accepting payment neither is the agency? it's still on my credit report as unresolved attorney collected over $1,900.

I went to Cash Express, got a PDL that I intended on paying off. I've done business with these guys for a couple years - only had one time where I had to make arrangements. Well, I had some extra unexpected expenses and got sick on top of everything else. My PDL was due yesterday (Friday). I called them today to let them know my situation and the girl said they no longer accept payments and told me I had to come in by Wednesday and pay the full amount, even after I told her there was no way I could. So, am I correct in assuming that it's not treated like a cold check in the my state?

I am ashamed to say that I am in a trap. What can I do? I continue to get them to pay other ones off. I am paying fees only and nothing on the prinicipal. Please tell me where to even start.

I have posted on here before about Midland Credit but they are at it again. I have old credit card debt (around 2000 and before) fron Capital One and Providian. Both were bought by Midland in early 2001. The original creditors have been removed from my credit report but Midland has not. They do not call me, mail me, or any real attempt to collect the debt because they know by now they can't but they constantly post on my credit report.

So I have enrolled in Langhorne debt solutions and have found them to be VERY helpful so far. My problem has been with my bank. I closed my checking account but they keep telling me it is open for 60 days after closing to make sure everything gets pulled. Then I called to put an ACH Block on because Langhorne told me that this will keep the payday loans out. The bank is ridiculous they say it takes 24-48 hours to go through. Has anyone else ever experienced such nonsense in trying to close an account to keep payday loan creditors out?!

I was a client of theres till recently, now I have found out that they have been shut down due to illegal practices. I was curious if anybody else is going through the recievership settlement. I sent them everything I had. My original paper work with them. My most resent Bank statement with them withdrawing from me. A Few months ago I asked them to send me a form that showed me all my deposits. I sent that also. I was curious If I could also sue hess Kennedy and not just get a refund. My CC was at 11k and now is above 16k because of late fees and they were supposed to take care of that.

I was looking at the do it yourself and I would like to send a law firm who has overtaken my account a DV letter. I live in California and was hoping for some assistance or someone to guide me through this. Thank you for your assistance.
