Rights against Tribal Lenders?

Here is the letter I sent to Cash Fairy, a tribal owned PDL (though I didn't realize this before working with them)...after reading my letter to them you will see the response I received back.  I am looking for advice as to how I should proceed...what are our rights when working with tribes?  Thank you in advance for your help.

I have tow pay day loans that are creating problems for me. I know it isnt much but hey total $900. I have made the fisrt interst payments, but the rest will be a struggle since I no longer have access to the same income.

I applied for an online payday loan with Payment Direct Payment loan was $200.00 so the total I needed to pay back was 289.00 dollars. I have been paying on this loan since Oct. 2012 the sume of 89.00. The total payment the debit out my account is $ 534.00 and the rep I talked to stated that it is not a paydown loan I need to pay $289.00 to complete this loan even though I have paid a total of 534.00 dollars. I feel that I have completed my obligations what should I do?

Today a guy (with heavy Indian accent) who said he is from the Dept of Legal Affairs, called looking for my attorney info. I said for what? He said the Sheriffs office didnt contact you last week? I said no, he said oh you need to call Mike Carter at 415-952-5630 and he can explain. I said why cant you, he said cause I dont have your file, he does. Im just calling for your attorney's info. I look at the caller ID and its the SAME NUMBER he's calling from. So I call it back.

I posted separately for WS/CC -- just too much on that alone. That is a must read for anyone that needs a good laugh..  This is the rest.. Since finding this wonderful site in September and starting my process.. I have gotten a PIF from Great Plains Lending --  I have not really heard anything from Plain Green since I sent them this email "Dear Plain Green, Do yourself a favor and mark my account paid in full.

 

Bank levies

I am an account holder for a checking account with my fiance, a bank levy was put on the account against him, is this legal since it is my account?

I am working through this nightmare and have done the following so far, closed my bank account, opened a new account and have the letters ready to send out to lenders. My question is do I need to give letters of revocation to the bank that I closed or just by closing it should be enough?

 

Now dealing with "collections"

These people are ruthless! I have sent all necessary letters to the PDL companies and am now doing some sitting and waiting. However, I had a loan with Gateway Holdings for $300 and have recently been contacted by their collection department, ECG. These people never tried to contact me first. They called my ex husband's parents! I have no idea how they got their number, other than looking for anyone with the same last name. They explained to them that they were looking for me to serve me papers, blah blah blah. I was mortified!

 I had a cell phone thru bluegrass cellar. To keep in Comtact with my dying mother of cancer.in 2008. I had my phones taken from me when we took her to St. Louis. I turned in my phones as being stolin and a month later I received a bill for $6500.00  I was shocked and again called them as they told me Iam liable for this bill after a lo g time of arguing and being transferred from one person to the next. They told me it will be taking off and that the phones was t shut off right away.
