I have been caught in the new account closed by a bank after a check systems/EWS sweep before, and have a question. I recently opened a new account at a credit union, that says they don't use check systems or EWS..only telecheck. The account has been opened for about 3 weeks, and I have my debit card (I never ordered checks, figuring I would do it later). How long should I wait before transfering my direct deposit and everything else over.

What is the statue of limation on debt in Colorado. This debt came off my report after 7 years, now someone has sold it to someone else but it has the original name on it. What can they do to me and my credit report.
