I am looking for a contact number for GEMB and what department i need to talk with about have my mom the co signer, take complet control of the acount and take my name off becase she ran up the cc with out me knowing! i realy need to get this fixed if you could help that would be great thank you.

Can my creditors legally not work with a debt relief program if I hire one to help me?

I just had a horrifying thought. My account is severely overdrawn past PDL and overdrafts. My stupid fault. I was just reminded by my girl scout troop that I am a signer on the Girl Scout troops account and its at the bank I am overdrawn on. This is a checking account for the Girl Scout Troop. Can they remove money from that account to pay off my personal checking account. If so, can I get my name off my account. Thanks

Hi everyone, sorry this is so long... So about a month ago I get a dunning letter from Capitol Recovery Associates that they bought my CashnetUSA account and that the balance was $620.00. My CashnetUSA account number was on the letter and the balance was correct according to my records except I had sent in a $50 money order to CashnetUSA which was cashed.

I'm getting ready to get my account blocked but they won't do it until I'm positive. What do I do about the legal PDLs in that case since they will be blocked? Thanks.

I first post was as a guest. I forgot to login. SORRY!!! I currently bank with Wachovia and just saw a news article saying that Wachoiva was sold to Citicorp. I have debts with Citicorp. Should I be concerned that Citicorp can take action against me now that they have my banking account information? I am paying on all the citicorp debts, but some of the agencies still make threats.

Does anyone know of a debt management/settlement/consolidation service that helps with payday loans in Maine?

I had a Home Shopping Network Credit Card through Providian that was sent to collections. I owe about $3,100 on it. The collector is Erin Capital Management, which turn it over to their law offices of Eltman, Eltman, and Cooper. Eltman had served me papers in August 2007, however we reach a payment agreement w/o having to go to court. I paid $125 down, and the agreement was $100 a month thereafter, beginning the end of October 2007. At that time, I had just gone back to work after being unemployed for two years, so $100 at once was rather difficult for me.
