A company called MCM called me about a credit card. I admit the debt but I want to discuss what happened. A man called me and he was speaking broken English. I could not understand him and I also had a bad phone signal. So, I tell the man that I have to go and to call me back at a later time because I was also at work. He keeps talking to me and keeps trying to push a settlement offer on me. I keep telling him I have to go. So then he yells at me and says"DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING, DO YOU UNDERSTAND CLEAR ENGLISH" that really made me mad. He could not speak clear English.

I'm very shaken here and don't know what to do. I have let an Ace Cash Express loan default and now they are threating me with a lawsuit and won't let me make any sort of payment plan with me. They said unless I pay them $1,200 by Friday they will contact my work, hr department and supervisor and file a suit for me writing them a bad check. I will take any and all advice. If you have done debt settlement recently, could you please share your company? I really want to do this but my husband wants to ride it out using 401K money---we got a loan check today. Okay. I'll try to start at the beginning. I have a citicard that I defaulted on. I 100% admit that. Last month I got a phone call from a man by the name of John Britton. He talked really fast and threw out a lot of legal words like litigation, garnishment, subpoena, etc. He made himself sound like an attorney to me. He didn't tell me he was from Academy Services. He said some attorneys office, but then later in the call just said Academy when I asked where he was from. An internet search of the number told me it was ACS.

Ok here's the situation. Last night I sent off my c & d letter to b & l marketing. I have already paid $240 on a $200 loan. They emailed back today saying that they are willing to settle for $20 since I have already paid $240 and the contract says that the payoff amount is $260. Being that this payday loan is illegal in Ohio I am only due to pay back the principle amount of $200 which I have more than done. Do I just pay the $20 and get them out of my life or do I just tell them to kiss off and give me the $40 back that I have overpaid and that I owe them nothing else

has any1 hear from these lenders priority lending service. I send money any never got nothing back.
