How can I get the 2 credit card companies that I owe a total of $25,000.00 to, to come off of their 29.4% apr?

First < I live in FLA Second < Just got service today by target (original debt 9400.00 )capital one ( origainal debt 3400.00)< by the same law firm. Capial one count summons is on oct 14 2008 and Target is a summons to reply in writing with in 20 days I would like to try to settle this before going to count . Do I write a settlement letter and sent it to the law firm or do I sent it to the credit card company . Had anyone settle a credit card on their own ???

Hello, I've been trying to call Titan Recovery Group to get some answers on a charged-off credit card from Chase Bank. I called Chase because I had stopped receiving letters about the debt. Turns out Chase sold my account to Titan. They gave me their address and phone number but I never get an answer when I call. Does anyone else have a number for this collection agency? I've also looked up their site and sent an email to contact them. I got a message to my email that it was undeliverable.

Can allied garnish my wages?

I hope I'm not sounding too stupid, I have been reading but very new to this. We received a letter from Hudson & Keyses in response to our validation letter. All they have said is "the following information will verify the debt we are attempting to collect" and included the name opened under, SS#, original lender (who was Chase Bank), original card #, date acct opened, late last paid to original lender, original creditors address, charge off balance (which is $5,590.05 and charge off interest rate of 24.00.

I was wondering what might happen to someone who ownes nothing of value, is not employed, and lives off of a non-garnishing, and non-attachable income such as a service connected disabillity and/or social security and simply ignores all debt collection letters and court summons's on a 5000 dollar credit card debt which they do, in fact owe?

I need to get out of my payday loan as soon as I can. I am going into the Military and I can't afford these extension fees every two weeks. I will not be getting a check for at least 2 moths. I am in TN and all of my loans are internet. I am thinking about doing a consolidation but if any of these are illegal I would love to pay them the minimum let them go.

So I read this list of questions and hopes it helps ppl better answer the questions I post about this: I was server in Florida and have until the 1st of November to show up in court for a pretrial/ mediation, a party I've never been to before:) I honestly don't know if the debt is mine and need to know what the first steps are in regards to paperwork, and research... thanks:) 1. Are you being sued by the original creditor (OC)or a junk debt buyer (JDB)?- plaintiff on your summons says an assignee of Chase?
