So I closed my bank account...filed all the letter with the FTC, BBB and my AG. so I have gotten all but 2 loans taken care of. 247advances will only communicate via their website, i have to write them a "Help Ticket", they arent using any sort of threats, just told me that I will owe only $200 when I get a new bank account, but I have to give them my new account information. NOT GONNA HAPPEN...so they can just let the charges keep building, I have paid them over $900 on a $200 loan already....then there is BIG...who I hear is a nightmare to deal with.

Today I received the following response from usfastcash to the BBB regarding a complaint I filed against them: RE: xxxxxx Mr. xxxx: Ms. xxxxx is a returning customer, and at the time of the application the terms and conditions were presented and she had the opportunity to print them at that time. She had to answer a question whether she understood the terms before we could even receive the application to process. In addition, there was a 48-hour time frame the customer could cancel the agreement without incurring a fee.

I just received a postcard in the mail from my county courthouse that says LVNV Funding has won a default judgment against me. I was never served, so I am wondering how this is possible. I am the only one named on the card's address line and I am sure my wife was not on the account. These guys suck! I have paid them so much money in the past on a payment plan, then they turned on me and demanded the full amount when I tried to continue a payment plan.

You mention once the debt is paid the consultant negotiates with creditors to get them to favorably report. So, in fact, my debt can be paid in full and a favorable report will not necessarily be found in my credit history---correct?

what's the difference between debt management and debt settlement because i just sign up with BillsAndDebt, they offer both. Think I made a mistake?

I am getting calls from this practice stating that if I can not pay my loan back to Fast Cash Advance, per Massachusetts law this is fraud and they can have the appropriate police department show up at my home or work and have me arrested. Does anyone know this company and how true this information they are giving me is? Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you

Hello, I am currently giong through my credit report and trying to clean it up. I fell upon best buy and it looks like i owe them bout 1700. I called them and they gave me a number to Shermam Finanacials. The lady answer the phone and gave me another number to Capital Management. Have anyone ever dealt with them? I want to make this right and get a settlement out of them. He was willing to offer me a one time payment of 601; however, i have to give him post dated check right then and there. I told him i want it in writing.

First of all I want to thank all on here for alot of good info. I had posted before with not too many responses, but i really need some advice now my bank won't let me close my account till i have a positive balance, but they said they could freeze it till i can pay the nsf's. and close it out, the manager took all the info on my pdl's. cashnet's deposit was returned also paydayloan-yes was i need to know since cashnet is legal if i need to send them a C&D letter or should i call them to make payment arrangements. They tried to make 2 more ach's yesterday again and they were also returned.
