i recently found out that i am a victom of identity theft. this is my first time looking at my credit report. 3 years ago my wallet was stolen. and it seems i have 4 credit cards and 2 bank accounts i knew nothing about all are 3 years old . Now what??? if i get the credit reporting places to block these will my score go up??i seem to have 6000.00 worth of debt and only 387.00 is MINE(not including my truck) i have never had a credit card or a bank account with either bank reported the only thing that should be on my credit is 1 old hospital bill(5yrs) and my truck

I want to fight the lawyer that is about to sue for for a charges off Advanta account. Its still under SOL. Im going to file a graduated denial. but I want to fight this. They wont send me the account numbers, or any information regarding my account. IM not going to just pay this firm that generated my name,ss and some arbitrary amount from a spreadsheet somewhere. I want o file Discovery is this possible? I wan this firm to prove that the money I owe is mine and I want some proof of the mounting interest that has been added to the balance.

I have posted before and I don't know where to begin. When I sent a message to stcadvance.com they told me that since they are not in the us, the are not bound by us law. Is this true? Also, I have searched to see if any of these loans were legal and I guess they are not. If anyone is in Illinois or is familiar with Illinois law, can you please let me know. I feel like I am not doing this right and I am in a corner.

I have contacted a debt consolidation company and they want me to immediately sign paper work and are pressuring me to do so. This makes me nervous is there a rush to this process?

Thanks for reading... The CA is Mann Bracken, LLC. I was served a summons about a month and a half ago for a $2700 account. Within a week, I contacted Mann Bracken and "settled" for $2200. I agreed to a check-by-phone payment of $1,800 on that day and then another for $400 on Sept 30. I had them mail me a written confirmation of the settlement. I thought all was good until today. They sent me a "confession of judgement" form (with my county named, etc)- the form says that I've confessed, etc and agree to pay the 1800 and the 400.

Has anyone heard of Affiliated Credit Services? I am just curious to know who they represent. They called an my unlisted number and left a message and I don't know how they got it.

Hey Guys, I'm going to need some help on this one. Ok, so here it goes, Today I tried to place a call on my cell phone, then up came a recording saying they were transfering me to T-Mobile. My dad had to speak since he's the main account holder. The rep comes on and says the account has been suspended for "Recent High Activity". She says that I have past my minutes and now owe about $596. She said I had a $29.99 plan, which isnt true, I have a $39.99, which I tried to tell her, but it's like she wouldn't even listen to me.

what is t&c and how can I get in touch with them? I have read alot about them on this board. I have some cc's and loans plus pdl's I'd like to put into a credit counseling company.

These idots call me a lot too. I know I owe money out there, but have never heard of so many of these companies calling me. I Google the numbers and add them to the reports on Whocalledme or whocalledus. These guys supposedly are not the best. I'd suggest reporting them to the BBB as well as the AG.

I know that several people on here have used Langhorne. I am currently working with them and today when ameriloan called me about making payments on my loan, they told me that they do not work with Langhorne. I haven't heard back from my rep at Langhorne, so was wondering what experience anyone on here has had. I am so looking forward to getting out of the payday loan trap!
