OK im new here.

I have been going through so many of these forums trying to find the best debt settlement company to go with. I have about 93k in unsecured debt and I need to do something FAST. Most of the forums do not recommend any specific companies and when someone does recommend one someone laters complains about them. I need some honest recommendation from people that have been through it before. Thanks you. Please provide any info you have on the company.

I am working on the letters, but I dont have valid address for all of the companies. Can I email or fax the letters? Would this have the same affect? Do I need to sent the letters to the BBB, FTC and attorney general as well? or do I just file the complaints? I am totally lost right now, i dont even know where to start,any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you !

I sent them my C&D letter on Monday after closing my bank account. They have called me once (I didn't answer), and today I received this email: "The deposit from the above agreement must be paid back. Deposit amount-$400.00 Amount paid as of 08/19/08-$240.00 Settlement Offer-$160.00**waiving all fees**-which reflects the repayment amount of the deposited amount to your account.

I live in Florida. This past March I borrowed $300.00 from United Cash Loans. It was to be repaid in two weeks and the finance charge was to be $90.00. Two weeks later my account was debited for $90.00; and, yet another two weeks later it was debited for another $90.00. I contacted United Cash Loans and told them that I no longer needed the money and would like them to remove the principal of $300.00 from my account. They said that I would need to complete an authorization form which they emailed to me two weeks and yet another $90.00 later. I completed the form and emailed it back.

Ok how to deal with them. They called me b/c my loan and i closed my bank account. they took out the last fee on July 17th, I believe it was. Will they work with you? I still owe them 390.00 but something on this board tells me once you go into collections with them they don't stop the fees? I have to call them back. Thanks!

Ok, so I'm new here but have been reading up on united cash loans. are they not legal anywhere?? I'm in PA I have a loan with them and they are willing to do a payment plan.

Why can't I see any changes on the PDL forum? The same topic Ohio PDL help has been the first topic since early this morning. When I try to reply to a post it won't let me? What is the problem? Thanks, Diane
