How would I go about getting the BK7 removed from my record. I understand it remains on my credit file for 10 years from the date of filing. That date has come (8/2008) and I don't know who to contact to get the record off. Please advise.
Thanks!
well, I reformatted my computer last month. I just never got around to posting here. I don't think I have any collections on me. I haven't heard anything since the early part of June.
But I'll check in from time to time, and I hope people will get educated so they won't be intimidated by Bill Collectors, or those posing as such.
Hello,
I am ready to take back control of my finances and have been following this board for the steps to take. Here is what I have outstanding; can someone tell me if these are legal? I am in Florida.
Interim Cash borrowed 250/pd 235
ameriloan borrowed 400/pd 240
Cash Advance Network borrowed 300/pd 780
One Click Cash borrowed 300/no payment yet
I think Interim Cash is overseas; when I call them it sounds like they are in India.
Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated!
I was just informed by Bank of america when I went to open an account that I have an old bank account that has gone to you guys for collection and before I can open a new one I need to clear it with you. My name is Robert Taylor
I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum, but my question is:
I filed a Chapter 13 bk last year. I included my Orchard Bank credit card that I had at the time in my bk. In the meantime, Orchard sent me a new credit card with a $300 limit. I know I shouldn't have accepted and activated it, but I did. My question is, if I sign up with their online bill payment to make my payments, what are the odds that they might drain my bank account for the old card that I had and included it in my bk?
Can they call 6 or 7 times a day and as many as 4 times within 14 minutes. They have threatened to garnish my wages. Can they do this without a court order?
I paid off Sonic 766.00 on payday. I am sooooo short of $$$, but I refuse to re-loan. Even 200.00. I want out of the trap.
Pray for me to hold on till the 15th! I'm moving, tuition due, and all these e-mails saying "need a loan till payday" I see why they call it predatory.
Sorry for venting.
