Hi! I need help and info to fight these loan sharks that call themselves online loan companies. I want to deal with them or go after them but need to know where I stand. I have a consumer lawyer close to where I live-would it be worth going to see him? He supposely sues payday loan companies.

I have over 50,000 in cc debt both business and personnel. Where do I start on elimanting this debt or possibly reducing the high interest rates. I am current on these dabts but no for long, since I had to close my business recently.

If I have not heard from a CA in quite a while do I have to wait for a new letter to DV them so it will be within the 30 day legal dispute limit? Also does sending a dv restart the statute of limitations? Thanks, Michael

I have disputed an item for collection with Arrow Financial. They acknowledged that they would not contact me anymore on this item until they could verify to me. However, the credit bureaus are showing an increasing balance with them. and they have not been removed form the reports. Would I be better off disputing more although I suspect that thsi is a debt I owe? Or should I offer a payment for delete? Need to get this one finished, do not like the collection and charge off showing.

I got a call from Pay Day Loan Yes regarding the balance on my PDL (the last one I have) and told me that they will send a letter to my employers payroll department for wage garnishment and that because I closed my account, they could proscecute me for writing a bounced check. This is an on line PDL. I am in the state of Maryland and I am considering calling the MD Dept of Financial Regulations to get their input. I don't owe that much and told this very persistent woman that I can pay them the beginning of August.

What does it mean when a loan is charged off? What are the responsiblities of the loanee? What is the statue of limitations on 1998-1999 loans?

Who is this and how do I get them to stop calling my cell? Help

We did receive your fax revoking authorization for us to debit your checking account and also to send all correspondence via email or USPS. I have attached the documents of our original loan agreement. Your letter states that we solicited you for the loan. However, you searched us out, applied for our services, and then electronically signed the attached series of documents before we even received you application. In those documents(pg. 4 - Governing Law clause) your agreed to waive laws made by your state and agree to be governed under laws in the state where the lender is located.

I filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and besides stating the laws in their response they also stated this. Information we have learned about MTE Financial Services indicates that it is located on tribal land in Oklahoma according to the regulator in Oklahoma osbd.state.ok.us
