Hi again!!! Had a call from Fast Loans (storefront) they are telling me that they are ready to garnish my husbands wages for this loan that i took out not him. Is this true can they for a loan thats not his and its been only 4 wks since the loan was due. I told them I'd pay 1/2 on the 30th but she just happily told me how they would take it all out of my husbands check so dont bother.

I've been here as a guest before and, thanks to everyone's help, I've got a good start on (hopefully) nailing these payday companies. I had 9 loans out. Overpaid on 5 of them, still (moral obligation) owe 4 of them. I sent cease and desist/ach revocation emails to all of them. Telling them to contact me by email or usps only and that if they don't respond I will go to the BBB & Attorney General. I sent the letters out last Tuesday and, though I've received answers back, none of them have issued me PIF letters. They just keep re-stating how much (they think) I owe them.

Hey all, I have a question I am sure others have since some of us are now doing our own debt settlement. I have accounts with Chase, WaMu, Citi and Discover. No payments have been made on these since last August; September was the first month we didn't make payments. Most of these accounts are with CA's; the Discover has gone back to them and has been flagged to stay there with them. I hope they will. I am wondering, if anyone can tell, from their own experiences settling accounts, what percentages would be in line for each of these companies.

i have the same problem with them saying they collect for US bank only i have a letter from US bank saying that do not use IDT carmel. I have them showing on my credit and tehy will not go away and i do not owe the money. does anyone know who can help me

i sent ameriloan a certified letter not to debit my bank account anymore,but today they did so by a check can they do this

If you are sued and a company receives a garnishment against you what if another were to sue you can they also receive a garnishment and both be allowed to take out of your check at the same time. I've thank goodness not had nothing like this happen but I wondered how that worked if one company takes 25% of your check can another come right behind them and take 25% more. Johnita

Has anyone heard anything about the Hermosa debt consolidation? ....they are a group of attorneys that do debt settlement...apparently Hermosa Group are in multiple states....anyone?

Hello all i was wondering if taking out my retirement from a previous job thats earning 7% to pay off all my unsecured credit is a good idea or not ? I have a new job that iv been at for 2yrs now and im 38 so im also looking towards the future.
