ASTA/Palisades CA is sending me notification of a judgment on my husband's credit report. He does have a judgment on his report but it's a completely different account number than the one Palisades is listing. Palisades says it's the same account and that they'll settle the judgment if I pay the account in full. We just refinanced our home and got cash out to include the amount of the original debt and I want to satisfy the judgment but I don't want to be screwed either.

I put my post into a topic of its own. Being that it wasnt picking up much attention but I could use anyones help on what I should do. I have read over the posts of each person here and found some valuable information here. However, I can really use some advice into my present situation. I recall receiving a notice from Suttell & Associates. The notice was the standard 30 day notice as tomdav and his girlfriend received. However, I put it aside and didnt respond to the 30 day notice.

Hi. Im glad I found this site. It seems like you all can help me. Here's my situation. I have 6 PDL's out and I just cant keep up anymore. I want to get rid of these things! They are ruining my life and I cannot keep up with the rest of my bills. These financing fees are just kicking my butt. Is there any help? I cannot take out a bank loan because of my lack of credit. I dont have bad credit, but a lack of credit is the problem. I work my tale off and all my money is gone as soon as I get it. I live in Maryland and I have all internet Payday Loans.

I mailed my letters for debt validation. I sent them certified/registered mail. It's been over 30 days and I've not heard from either of the collection companies. What do I do now?

I have paid them $2000+ in interest and still owed $125 on the "principal"...they sent me an e-mail stating that they could not refund me any money, but were marking my account paid in full. Should I push the refund thing or just be happy with the pif and move on?? Thanks to all of you for your help....I really appreciate it so much!!

I originally posted in an existing thread but thought it might be better to start my own Okay sent these guys a DV with return receipt and DC about a week before they refused to take a payment from fiances acct as the last one )through there own fault) was declined. Tried to get my acct info which I refused. tried to make a payment by sending check "thats not good enough" Cashiers check "NO" wouldn't accept any of the proposed options. Sent them a DV just to get calls to work stopped.

I sent a DV letter to Capital Management Services in Buffalo NY in response to their request for payment. Seems they bought some debt that is supposedly mine from arrow financial services. Well, after receiving the letter, I checked my credit report and I didn't see anything with Capital Management Services on it, so I sent the DV letter.

The attorneys for the creditor suing me just sent me the agreement letter. They agreed to the amount that I was willing to pay them a month, but at the bottom it says: "plaintiff will proceeed with entry of judgement for full amount, however the sum that defendant (me) agreed to pay upon shall be accepted in full satisfaction of judgement if paid in accordance with the terms of this stipulation." My terms were $150 every month. I just wanted to ask here before I sign and send this back. I just want this over with.

I haven't heard from a couple of my PDL's and think it's kind of strange. It has been almost 2 weeks since I haven't paid. I sent letters to most of them, but there are still 4 who haven't contacted me and where I am not sure where to e-mail the letters. Has this happened to others of you out there??
