I took out and paid back a USFASTCASH loan several years ago. Yesterday I recieved a check in the mail from them for $300.00. In the memo it says Customer Refund. There is no other correspondence with it. The check is drawn off Welch State Bank Of Welch in OK. I am afraid to cash it. Does anyone know if this is a settlement or a scam?

I now know that Zest Cash or Spot Loan is an illegal tribal lender. I have notified them many times that I have paid back principal, actually overpaid, and I am done with them. I keep getting the run around from them. Just wondering if anyone has actually had any luck getting them to agree that you are paid in full, and if so, what did you have to do to get them to agree to that. Tired of dealing with them! I note the question above - and I understand the programs and all the factors. I was aboing to join a debt consolidation program, but a noted that Gunkydevil above me asked about debts to similar agencies - unlike major credit cards. Could anyone answer both of our questions at once? Do the pay-day loan or online loan places like s/he talks about usually cooperate? I don't need a smoking deal from them. I just want terms and the phone calls to stop. Help anyone?

our second mortgage was charged off after being more than 180 days late and while we were in chapter 13. when our chapter 13 was discharged it was stated in our credit report that the second mortgage had been included in our chapter 13 and was discharged also. it was in the amount of 89000.00 the status of our discharge is oct. 03, 2012 does this mean we dont owe this debt anymore? the second mortgage was with citibank :confused:

I am just wondering if netpdl.com is legal in indiana. I took out a $200 loan, and have already paid close to $300 of it back. I notice each payment only goes in to interest ($79.00) while I am charged $158 each time :mad:. I want to be done with this, and I am thinking they are not legal. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

Hello, I have three loans: Paydayone-loan-1100-owe-850-principle paid Spotloan-500-owe-450-principle paid Netcredit-2500-owe-2200-principle not paid I live in WI and I believe all of these are installment loans. I would like to consolidate them or find a way to reduce the payments as I am paying biweekly payments that add up to around 1100 a month. I have reduced the loans I have had out from 7 to three and reduced the monthly payments down 900 dollars. I am still hurting and need to find a way to decrease the amount I pay per month. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found out today that my checking account has a garnishment/levy placed on it. This is for an outstanding credit card dept that I do owe. Just can't pay it now, no job, no income, no savings, no personal property, just f'ing rock bottom, for now. But things could be worst. Received and signed papers/summons for lawsuit. Papers were served properly. No court date. Instructed to file with court my response. I have no response, I owe the money. CC/CA got judgement. Did not receive garnishment notice from court.

Hello all, I posted this on the wrong forum at first, sorry :) First off, I have to say that this forum is phenomenal with the amount of knowledge that can be found here. I have used this in the last 60 days to figure out more info on collectors and negotiations I have been working on. I am a first-time poster, and here is what I need assistance with: I am working with Citi cards to pay my account down. As of my last statement, if a payment was not received, I would officially enter 6 months past due, and go to a "charge-off" state.

I have 2 payday loans in Boise Idaho. One is through Money Tree for approx. $900 and another through Alpine Loan for approx. $700. I want out. How can you help?
