Okay - so I have a new account set up. But, hubby's direct deposit is still going into the old one last time. Thus, I can't close it. I have talked to the bank who is "calling me back" on whether or not they can do a hard block on debits on the account. So....if they don't....tonight when he gets his paycheck...MTE is also going to try and take out money. Should I transfer his check as soon as it hits to my new account? Go to an ATM and get it out?

Can anyone send me or direct to where on the site I can find a sample letter to revoke ACH?

I was looking over my last credit report last night and noticed that while Experian and Equifax only list the last few numbers on my credit card account, Transunion shows the whole beginning! S essentially if someone were to look at my report they could get my credit card #! I was wondering why Transunion wasn't reporting on that card, then I noticed that the card was listed again and that's when I saw the numbers. Has anyone else noticed that? Can I get them to change they way they are posting that one? It seems to be the only one they did that on.

I am thinking of entering the Century Negotiation,Inc. debt settlement program. Has/does anyone else been in this program recently that can tell me if they have had good or bad luck with them? Thanks.

So-are these related, one of my loans was with Emerald, which I had overpaid-Emerald started emailing me, saying they were gonna turn me over to AIS, I got an email from I collect Debt saying that they had turned it over to AIS.

Yesterday I was served a summons that I am being sued by CACH LLC for a debt that is owed. The one thing that is bothering me is that I have never received any letters or phone calls and then out of nowhere I get served with this. I am lost as to what I should do here. And another thing about the summons is that is says it was filed on march 14,2008 and that they have 60 days to serve me this summons from that date. I didnt receive it until May 28,2008. Thats longer than 60 days

I am in the process of getting my life back with the help of all of the wonderful people here but I have 1 question. When emailing the various letters to the PDLs should the letter be in the body of the email or as an attachment? Does it even matter?

I am dealing with palisades also. I faxed them a paid in full receipt for the Verizon phone bill in question and they told me it was a different acct. #. It is the same dates and phone # as the other bill we paid. They also have listed the account three times on my CR. What do I do next? Do I need to call Verizon? Thanks Amanda

I have not been on the site for awhile due to traveling for work for the last month. I kept deciding on if I should go with a debt settlement company or not. I do travel a lot for my company and I am limited with the time I can put into trying to do this on my own.
