I have a pdl with Cash Taxi that is due Friday. It is a $225 loan that I am scheduled to pay $300 for. I have alreday overpaid another loan with them by $120. I live in NC and just realized all this is illegal. What should I do first? Revoke ACH? Thank you for any suggestions.

The process is scary because you could possibly be paying twice. I a not behind on my payments just can afford my payments especially for holiday season. how do I know if it is a scam?

I am my fiancee's financial power of attorney. She currently has quite a bit of debt, the majority of which is from private student loans. As a result, she is receiving calls and letters from numerous collection agencies. She currently makes $8.40/hr, working 20 hours a week. It is unlikely she will be able to secure full time employment anytime soon. I have tried to explain her situation to several of the collectors but of course, they are not very willing to come to an agreement that is realistic based on what she is able to pay.

My problems now is that because of those loans, I've gotten so far behind on my personnal bills that I am now in jeopardy of being evicted from my apartment and having my vehicle reposessed. Does anyone know of a legitimate company that specializes in unsecured bad credit loans?

I need some advise. I have 4 payday loans out and they are killing me. How can I get out of them? I have paid all the prinicple on one of them, and the others I have been paying but just found out I was only paying interest. I try to be responsible and pay my debts, but this is getting out of hand! I also received a call from Blue Ridge Law Group with an offer to help me settle these loans. Are they reputable? Omni credit services just garnished a large sum of money from my bank account creating both checking and savings on hold. Bank states it was court ordered. I was never served with any legal notifications of a hearing. This debt is also over 14 years old. Do I have any options to fight this?

I live in IL & This company called me this morning (I almost got them confused with West Asset Management, which I have heard of before). I did not answer the phone and let them leave a message(have not listened to it yet, I find they just upset and me frazzle me more). 10 seconds later the phone at my part time job was ringing and it was a Kate Hamilton asking for me. I played dumb and pretended to be someone else. Miss Hamilton asked when I'd be in next and also went as far to say there was an important matter to deal with that was linked with my social security number.
