Is more than one company allowed to garnish your wages at once?

When the credit card that you have on a debt management program and you are making payments every month thru the debt management and then you receive the offer for settlement (for less money of the balance) how does that settlement would sho on your credit report? will it show as settle for less or would it still show as "charge off""collections"and can this be questioned to the credit report and ask them to correct it to show account was paid? Please advise

It has been about a month and half since I sent a validation letter to Allen (can't remember the rest of the namenow) and of today I have yet to hear from the? What do you think is going on? will I hear fro them still?

I was wondering if you are in the negative in your checking account like I am, and you have a hard debit block on and lets say your paycheck deposit goes through, does the bank have to take the hard block off temporarily to get their money?

Hello, I have another thread on this forum - please forgive me for starting a new one! I got an even more upsetting matter now, though. I first had this with my ER Solutions thread but this really is a whole new issue - I am sorry if I broke forum rules.. Here's the thing: I owe capital one aprox. $600. On sat. morning, i came home from the post office feeling good and got a missed call. I called back and these people said they were calling for capital one, i thought they were collections and asked them to put in writing a debt validation - after these payday loans, i don't trust anyone!!

The bank has determined that the transaction they did was unauthorized and gave me back the money. Now rapidcash is still trying to come after me. Their unlicensed in va and I paid them the principal back. Since the bank determined that they had no merit in taking my money out in the 1st place, can they still try to get my money again? Thanks

I think this would be a great thread to start. We all have ideas in which to save $$ at the pump. One trick I have is to shift my truck into neutral while waiting at lights. Saves on brake pads too! Any other ideas??
