:lol:I want to thank all of you for the help you have given me regards to my illegal payday loans. While I am not out of the woods yet from my legitimate credit card debts, I am working with the credit card companies to help me catch up with these payments. I also do have one legitimate pay day loan with Advance America which is licenced in my state. They have set up a reasonable payment plan in accordance with Washington State laws that I can actually work with and I feel is fair.

To make a long story short, I had a Target credit card, maxed it out, and was making the minimum monthly payment (which was getting me nowhere, but was at least making them). I moved out of state and took an extreme pay cut, and eventually stopped making any payments at all. For a couple of years I had gotten phone call after phone call, as did most members of my family. I ignored them all. I started receiving letters from a debt collection agency with an option to pay off the debt at a reduced figure. Stupidly, I threw them away, just hoping they would "forget" about me.

I graduated in 2008 and I have been paying every month on Keybank and ACS, both private loans. I even paid a large chunk of 10,000 to ACS last year yet ACS continues to harrass my co-signer every time I am late on a payment. I do pay every month and have not missed once. Yes I will admit i am late sometimes, maybe a few days and my co-signer will get phone calls and letters from ACS. He is tired. As for Key Bank, my loan was sold to them. My original loan I had said I was able to get my co-signer off as long as I pay for 2 years.

I got into some trouble with some illegal pay day loans and ended up with fees and having to change my bank account. Due to this I am past due on my credit cards. I have a total of five credit cards and will be paying off two and closing the accounts. The other three I am going to keep which are a Capital One Visa card, a Best Buy store card and a Care Credit card for dental expenses.

Hi everyone, I sent my version of the letter asking each payday lender about my account, the validity of their business, legality of doing business with me in Wyoming, etc. I got several responses, one of which was Vincent, which just called it good and cleared my account. But, Cash Call has sent me a fairly nasty letter telling me all this garbage about doing business with a Native-American business and given me until the 16th of this month to set up a payment plan that will start in January. They also have refused to communicate via email.

What does it mean when I log onto my account w/ United cash loans and it says to contact the compliance department? So I emailed about 6 times yesterday and called three times today. I spoke with them and they said that my account is with the legal or compliance department and that they would be contacting me. I don't expect them to contact me, because I have already notified them via email that I revoked ACH. Do you think that they will try to debit?

hello Back on Dec 2009 - I had a settlement with Citimortgage and in the contract it stated when I pay the amount it will read as paid / settled for less then full amount. I paid the debt and settled with them in Dec 18, 2009. To this date Nov 6 2012 it still says charge off on my credit report. I have called 4 times and have written letters. Today I called and the customer service agent said she was going to let underwriting know. You cannot know how much this has effected my bills. This is a 70,000 charge off that have been on my report for 3 years and I settled it.

Need help in Ohio. I have been talking to a couple of you. I need to make sure if I proceed with this I am not digging a bigger hole for myself. I have a loan with Western Sky which sold that to Cash Call. Another one with Plain Green and Cashnetusa. Cashnetusa is screwing me the most. My loan is 1800 bucks but I had to extend that so I am being charged 460 every two weeks. that 460 is not even going to my principal. If I follow the instructions to contact my bank and stop all ACH and send them a letter about being illegal and only paying what I owe.

I have been served with a lawsuit from Michael J. Scott. I requested debt validation from Michael J Scott and Capital One prior to the filing of the lawsuit but never received anything from MJS and only received a form letter from Capital One saying they were referring my request to the appropriate department. I am prepared to answer the complaint but need to know if I include copies of the letters I was sent from MJS and Capital One as well as my request for validation and the certified mail receipts?
