Hello everyone! I have been reading these boards and they have been a huge relief for me. Here is my current situation: I have fallen prey to pdl's since December of 2007 and I have only defaulted on one so far. I have 11 pdl's: Here is the rundown: Think Cash...Owe 900.00, pay 94.00 every two weeks One Step Cash...have pd $360.00. Owe 250.00 my cash now...Pd 360.00.. Owe 350.00 JVC...Pd 180.00.. Owe260.00 Payday ONe.. owe 565.00 Zip 19.. owe 479.00 Magnum Cash Advance...defaulted..borrowed 500.00..

Don't have a lot of information just a company called ICC...they keep calling my house but do not leave a message...any ideas?

Last 3 months had been really stressful for me. I was receiving calls from the collection agencies and payday lenders to whom I owe around $26,000. Finally, I have decided to consolidate all my loans (or settle it) under one. However, I'm still negotiating with a consolidation/settlement firm regarding this issue. They were really nice to me and have taken the much needed care to explain their costs to me.

Hello, If a creditor gets these letters and they still call are they in violation of the fair credit act? I am with Oak view law and they claim they sent these letters but I still get calls from 3 different creditors at least 5 times a day. I talk with oak view and they don't seem to want to do anything. Any help or guidance would be great. Thanks Ray W.

Hi Everyone I am a happy and almost free man who has risen from the debt hell. Past 5 years, I was falling deeper into debt from my 11 credit card accounts. Last October of 2007, I hit the wall of reality by ran out of credit card balance juggling tricks. I was denied for opening any more new accounts and my credit card debt was way more than my yearly income. I was under 130K credit card debt by end of Nov. 2007. It was very depressing Nov. , Dec. and Jan.. I talked to bankruptcy lawyers and credit counselors to find any way out.

I have 4 internet payday loans I cannot renew anymore!Help!What do I do?Can I get in legal trouble?I have been paying renewal fees for months.I live in state of florida but this renewal i just can't do if I don't pay can I get in legal trouble?I want to pay them off and get done but it will take a little time!Please help!!!!!!!!!!

I feel desperate. I had 4 cards with high interest. I went with a credit counseling agency. 1 is paid off, 2 are due to be paid off in about a year. The 4th is the problem. They have underpaid Sears and I now owe more than I did when I started. I got a call from a collection agency on Friday. Said he was faxing paperwork to my HR Director at work. Read my credit report back to me. Basically devastated me within 10 minutes. I feel as low as anyone can feel.I paid $16 a month toward this debt for 4 years and it means nothing now. I am living in fear that he will contact me at work.

Hello.... I am originally from New Mexico and just moved to AZ. Feb 11, 2008 and just graduated with my degree. But in the last month with my little boy and wife thinking of a positive outlook we got caught up in a tangle of Pay Day Loans. In only one month and a half we got 9 pay day loans...equal to about 3500? We just stop paying them all together. But they calling me non-stop was wondering if I end up going to jail or something? My job is good inless I am clear of any felonies. Advice Please.
