Well I find this to be just plain stupid, but I guess it just goes to show this sort of fraud stuff can happen to anyone... I was at a gas station last week and used my card twice. First at the gas pump, then I went inside and bought a couple cartons of cigarettes. The cashier rang up my sale, swiped my card, and then mumbled something about the computer acting up.

OK - I am by any means a neat freak but I do keep my house clean. The other day while in my laundry room (which is where we keep our dog food) I had a mouse run out across my hand. OMG!!!!!!! So, we get some traps, set them and lo and behold the next morning we have a mouse. YEAH!!! The nightmare is over. OH NO - the saga continues. Night falls and everyone is getting ready for bed. But wait, what is that noise. Another mouse :x Now, six mice later - I believe we got the majority of them. Only time will tell. Yes, you read it right, six mice. I am devasted.

Need more recent info on Collection Company of America, based in Denver Colorado. A lot of weird stuff seems to be happening in that area here of late.

My husband received a letter in the mail today (just delivered, not certified) from a lawyer with "Notice to take deposition under bill of discovery" on the top. It is in regards to fees that a lawyer he had retained in the past had charged him for. Back when the lawyer originally sent the bill, we disputed it as we had already paid this man $1600 and he was adding on more charges after the fact that we really did not owe. He basically said he wouldn't back down and we had to pay it.

how long does it take to get money deposited from payday-loan-yes in account,i was approved friday aftrenoon,check their site but just shows approved nothing else

Hi Ron, I hope that I don't have you confused with someone else. I thought that I read where you were looking for an attorney in your area (jacksonville). While sending a complaint to an attorney's office, I noticed they have an office in Jacksonville and take cases involving debt collectors, harassment, etc.Hope this helps.

Is it legal for a debt collector to ask you personal questions about where you live, whether or not you are married, whether you live alone, and so forth in order to determine if you can pay a bill? I contacted Collection Company of America. They stated that they had my acct from AT & T. I would not be able to pay much on it but I am willing to pay something...he became rude with me and stated that you don't care about your credit rating...or paying this bill...etc..I told him that I make very little but of course he could care less.

We are thinking of going with a debt reduction company-I've read a lot of messages on message boards concerning this. I am horrified of the fact of the credit card companies suing us. If that did happen, what is the procedure on this? Thanks

It has been over 5 months since I have been harrased last time from Webpayday. 5 months ago they had Phoenix debt management keep calling me everyday asking for $160.00, they even threatened me with a court case, the women over the phone says, "you have to hire a lawyer, you are going to jail." Eventually I came here and got the information to send them a debt validation letter. I did and the after 2 days i got a call from Phoenix Debt Management telling me they couldnt give me any information or documents concerning this loan.

I want to pay off this loan. I no longer want just the interest taken out of my account.
