i have a judgement that i am willing to make payments on and the people who hold judgment are saying they are going to take my house can they do that i live in ohio and the amount is only $5000

For those of you that have managed to get back the money that overpaid, how long did it take and how did you do it? I just sent off all my letters today - thanks to cannr, vollyballmom, and the rest of the wonderful people on this board. I am bracing myself for the 8$#% to hit the fan tomorrow when they receive them and when they find out our bank account is closed. :twisted:

While on vacation in Fl. my son became ill. He went to the hospital and waited four hours to see a Dr. after which they charged him five hundred dollars and sent him on his way. He didn't pay the bill while there because he was mad. After he returned home he received a bill from the hospital stating that if he paid right away he would only have to pay two hundred and fifty dollars, so he paid them. That was last summer.

I love this site and it has given me great advice regarding my pay day loan help. However, I need more advice. Before I got langhorne to deal with my numerous pay day lenders. I made an over the phone settlement agreement with a lenders, Rapid Cash management( they 're in England). After a agreement of $50 every twice a month was made, I was unable to have the representative e-mail anything in writing repeating the verbal agreement we made. They requested I fax over a copy of the money order and mail it to thier office in England.

I called my original creditor which is a hsbc account today and they said my account has been turned over to collections which is corporate receivables. long story short, I had been sending letters to my hsbc account regarding why my first payment was late and wanted to change my due date since my checking account was closed. Well they never responded and just kept on tacking on late charges. This agency says I have not made a payment since november to my hsbc account and that is a false statement. What do I do. Should I work with the original creditor or the collection agency?
