cashcall and thinkcash.com are they both underwritten by same bank ? neither are PDL loans ? which means they can be scary and have teeth ?

Hi, I am a graduate and have a BA in sociology. I am in debt real bad. I have problems getting health insurance, a good career, and could use any advice anyone has to give! Hi I am brand new to this and love the site!!! It is so good to know that I am not alone being in debt. I have several things on my credit reports that I am trying to fix. Well I was ignoring the creditors but then Anchors Receivables Management was calling a family member everyday so I called them. I told them that they were calling a family's phone. Then they told me that they would settle for a debt and he or she (couldn't tell by the voice) would accept a settlement by phone. I told him/her that I would need proof of the debt.

I have a friend who woke up this morning and found her checking account had been completely drained. Previously she had a balance of $1,300.00 and today she had a balance of $1.00!!!! The bank told her they recieved a "notice of levy" and had to take her money!!! I didn't get the details yet (she was too upset to talk). Is this normal?? Can this really happen? I just opened a checking account again, and now i'm worried. Antone ever heard of these bank levy's?

Can you please help me with letter templates to settle my debt with creditors/collections?

i have been calling collection agencies all day setting up payments and getting them reduced is this the best way to go about things or should i dispute some of them, some of the peopl,e i have called have no record of my social, and others it is completely impossible to find phone numbers for them the ones im finding difficult are CBCS, NCO MEDCLR, and SUPERIOR ASSET MANAGEMENT if anyone has any advice or knowledge of this kind of stuff i would be extremely appreciative.

Hi, i have paid a written of loan about 6 months ago through a third party collections. I have proof of this and am wondering if this should have been updated on my credit score. Is this worth fusing over or could i have this disputed and possibly deleted. thanks Roy

Talked with Langhorne today. Asked a lot of questions. Seems like I will still have to pay $150 over what I have already paid to settle. Two of my loans are paid (principal amount) one is $30 away from being paid and two are still owing monies on principal. Seems like a lot of money to settle these debts. $2000 in total to settle about $600 still owing on two loans. Think I can do this myself?

Okay, stupid me, I had two payday loans with the worst 2 outfits on the planet...Arrowhead Investments and Geneva Roth Company. Together, they've deducted more than $3000 from my account. Can I dispute the charges with the bank?
