As I continue to "fight the good fight", I managed to get under the skin of at least one PDL. After all of the typical harassment, I finally decided to call back and give them a taste of their own medicine. The "gentleman" (and I mean that term very loosely) on the other end of the line informed me that he was from the investigations department. I reminded him that a BBB complaint had already been filed. I pointed out that I had made an offer to repay just the principal. I also mused aloud that his company and their loans are illegal in my state. His reponse?
