Ok so I'm 21 i just moved out on my own and ... I have 3 online pay day loans. I thought that I could get one to help me out and bills kept ailing up now i cant catch , the cycle continued. Now i dont have enough money for my bills. What do I do ? I live in indiana i have a loan from my cash now, ameriloan, and gfs help!!!

but it has reached my credit score. I had to leave the country in a hurry 3 years ago, I canceled all my accounts, all my services, paid them all, but I forgot one... the last gas bill. I recently returned to the U.S. and happened to check my credit report, and I saw a stain on it for $19 that I have not paid to the gas company for 3 years. It's not a big amount but it is really hurting my credit score and I totally wish to pay it. I called the gas company and they told me that I had to pay my debt to the collector agency.

I owe the IRS about $250 in taxes from last year that I have not paid. Can I still file my taxes this year if I haven't paid them yet? If so, would they just take what I owe out of my refund or should I pay it before I try to file my taxes this year?

I owed the IRS about $300 and did a payment plan. I was paying on it, but after I paid a payment in July, I didn't pay them again even though I have been meaning to take care of it. Today I received a notice that I have to pick up a certified letter from them. I am scared to death. Do you think this is a collection letter? I owe them about $160 right now. I have to pick the letter up in the morning, but I am so scared. I am not sure of anything else it would be.

Hello all. I need your help understanding what this person I know has done. He needed a new washing machine and he with to the big blue boxstore and got there credit card and got the washer. We were talking at lunch time and he was saying how he had to wait for some 1099 forms. Someone ask what do you have 1099 for. The reply was that they had CD in the bank. My question is why would someone take on consumer debt when they have CD's. Wouldn't you think that you would save money in a saving acct first before you start getting CD's? I have a $1000 in a saving acct.

My folks recently recieved a recording, that listed my name. Apparently, no live person on the other end. Message stated that if it wasn't me, hang up. That they would continue to collect if call was not terminated. How can a call like this be terminated, as required, when an answering machine takes the call and no one is around to hear message and pick up/hang up phone?? Answering machine took the call, as my folks, like me, do NOT answer the phone.

Hello - I'm in the process of signing on with a debt reduction/settlement company. Here's my question: do all such companies require up front fees (in my case 5 months worth) before they begin paying actual debt? If not all of them do, where can I find alternative agencies? MoneyOnMyMind

I’m not sure what to do with this situation: I have had a negative balance in my checking acct. because of PDLs. My bank closed my acct. today at my request and returned everything that was there to bring me to a positive balance of 1.99. They waived all the NSF charges (basically just to get rid of me, I think). They will not open a new acct. for me, I need to find another bank. I have approx. 4 checks that are outstanding now that have already been presented once and returned because of the damn PDLs.

I am trying to clear up my credit and this name is on my credit report. I would like to no who I owe this debt to. Amanda Paugh
