I am being sued for $9000, I sent a letter to the debt collector who purchased the debt from another debt collector asking him to verify the debt he replied by sending me a piece of paper that has the name of the original creditor and the amount that I owe, I am not sure if this good enough, what do you think guys? Now his attorney filed a lawsuit against me. They want me to pay either $ 750 a month or $7500 in cash which I don’t have right now. I tried to get a lawyer and he wants to charge me $2000 to take my case.

I had filled out an online application for a pdl - it was apparently approved and $200.00 was deposited into my account by a company called "Alberta Loan Shop" on my bank statement. I received an email explaining the basic principles - every two weeks I would receive an email with a document attached that would give me the option to renew ($60.00), payoff, or some combination. This form had to be returned 3 business days before the due date or the $60.00 would be taken and the loan continued. There was a link to my "loan documents" but it didn't work.

Can anyone tell me the address, phone number or fax number for ameriloan and if they are legal. I have not been on the forum for awhile just received a threatening call from them. My bank account has been closed since 8/07 and I have paid them $450 on a $300 loan. Any help would be appreciated.

This is my first day after closing my checking account and all the calls are coming in. Ann from Speedy has already tried to contacted the business office at my job. I'm beginning to panic. I was wondering. If an adverse/negative item is deleted from your credit report does that increase or decrease your credit score?
