I have never had a payday loan with them and they have deducted $320.00 from my account. We should sue this company because we have never applied for a loan with them. My bank suggested that I close my account and they are going to do an investigation if I have never received a deposit from them they will reimburse me. LET'S DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!!!!

I have a settlement agreement with Unifund and I asked my husband to send them a certified check along with a copy of the agreement, certified mail. Well he did everything correct but instead of sending a certified check he send them a regular check. Should I be scared that they will now have our banking information? Should I close our checking account something i DON'T want to do. Is there any possible way of calling the bank and telling them to only let that company withdraw what the check is written for?

How do I tell who is deducting money from my account when there is not a name on the statement but a number?

I would advise anyone against getting one because 99.9% of the time PDL=predatory lending.

I live in a big university town and am thinking about contacting the editor of the university's newspaper to do an article on this community. I have learned so much here and have met some very knowledgeable people that I truly believe could help young individuals going to school in regards to finances and especially the pdl's. Has anyone ever done this and if so was it a positive thing to do? ladybug
