They are still a great bank, but I noticed today that I had been double charged for the checks I ordered. I called in and the CSR said it has happened to more than just me. He did remove the charge while I Was on the phone and I am still glad to have this bank. I have my paycheck direct deposited in it too. Just watch for that double charge.

I Am downing in debt but before i can pay it off i have to take care of some online pdl's from 5 different places, "one click cash, usfastcash, netcashusa, thinkcash and the loan shop. I live in ohio and right now the are totaling up to just about my whole paycheck. I have two bank accounts so I am going to close one out. Is that the smart thing to do? When you apply for a secure credit card, is your credit checked? If so, is it a soft inquiry or a true inquiry? I am continuing to raise my credit score (I finally am out of the 500s... :D ) and have been told that a secure card could help. Any suggestions as to which one is best? Thanks!!

Too little too late. I just found your website today and i wish i'd found it earlier. i contacted a debt collector who'd sent me a letter to collect on a past debt. i unfortunately, gave them my banking information to set up a payment plan, after the woman told me that that day was the last day i could do anything without this going on my credit report. foolishly, i gave them the information, but now i'm wondering why i'm receiving letters from other debt collectors trying to collect on pieces of this same debt.
