I took out a PDL with Rapid cash management for $200 on 10/23/07 since then ive only been paying the processing fee of 89.00 totaling $356.00..Since I reside in the state of NY do I owe them any more money?? please help

Hi...i am new to this site and not sure where to post this but i was reading some threads that have been locked now..Yesterday i had a call at my place of employment and when the person was put on hold they hung up before i even got to answer the call..then i get home to see i had a call from my dad and my sister then a place called Law Office with the phone number 905-474-3535.. My sister said they called her at 8 in the morning...my dad says 10 my home has the number on at 10:30 and my work was around that time also...Why did they not call me first?

Hi, I am a 21 year old college student who is living on my own. I can not believe that I got myself in this hell when I was warned about it by my own mother!!! Well, I guess I was enjoying the independent lifestyle, partying and drinking, and using my credit cards. When that got maxed out and I needed fast cash what did I do? I went right to my local payday loan place and took out a loan, vowing that I would never become one of those people who frequent, besides "I'll only take out what I can pay back", was what I told myself.

I have several pdl's and they are draining me financially. I closed my checking a few weeks ago and thought if they wanted their money they would contact me, seeing that I have no info on a few!! Well, I received a call today from some foreign man saying that Lazer Lending has a lawyer investigating me for fraud because I closed my account!! He then says that I need to send 635.00 Western Union(for a 200.00 loan) for an out of court settlement or I will be going to court!! Can they do this? I am from Ohio!!

Can a debt collector legally call you if you are on the national Do Not Call list?

My husband took out a payday loan with Check Smart, Utah and after paying over 200.00 dollars in just interest we had to cancel the check to pay our rent. To make a long story short, we have tried on several occasions since then and this was originally taken out in August- to make arrangements to pay them. The corporate customer service is absolutely horrid.

I need some help with payday loan advice. I am sinking in these horrible loans and I don't know what to do. I am to the point right now I pay so much out of each paycheck I barely have enough money to buy the essentials. These loans are killing me. I don't know what to do!

I have this kid, age 25. He started down the college path and didn't take it seriously. The loans however were no joke so I have been paying on the Self Loans about $20k worth. He is back in school now and doing well this time. Over the last six years he has collected a ton of debt. Credit cards and and a couple of bank loans. All are written off and have been sold to collection agencies. One over $2,000 got a judgement and cleaned out his checking account and they are now taking payments from his paycheck. Total debt is around $7,500.

Hi, I noticed that under people's name there is a point number. What is that for? How can someone who has over 5,000 comments make over 800 dollars in six months? That's pretty good. Also, did you know that the IRS asks that if you make anything over 600 dollars you have to declare it?
