I posted last week saying that I had PIF's from 4 out of 5 PDL's (and even one refund), but was still having trouble getting United Cash Loans to talk to me. Well, after a strongly worded rebuttal to their response to my BBB complaint, I received an almost immediate response saying that they were marking me PIF. I am done with PDL's and could not be happier! Now that some extra cash is freed up, I have started to tackle my credit card debt. I called an account that was in collections this morning and settled it for half what I owed.

new to this forum, but seeking info on laws here in texas. like many, i kinda got stuck in the PL trap and rcvd a phone call this morn from "someone" threatenting to come pick me up for hot checks and then got transferred to someone else even more hostile after i started asking questions! i was just trying to figure out who they were and what their exact intentions were....they went on to further threaten me w/lawsuits and even a 5-10 jail sentence~which i find somewhat hard to believe for a OL amount of $300. can someone pls refer me to an explanation of my rights vs. their rights.

I just got a letter from Credit Protection Depot saying they are going to take further action: ____________________________________________________ I went to mycashnow and discountadvances for which these people collect for and those two companies are in Granada.... Well not only that, these companies are not licensed to do business in AZ or any other state. According to AZ law, the debts are void and I do not have to pay them anymore.

that is more than 7 years removed from your cr??? and if so how do you do that??? i have something on my cr from 2000, would i have to wait til the beginning of the year?

ABout a loan i took out over a year ago. I know I paid them but I have no records anymore because it was out of an old checking account. He said he was with the legal department and my balance was over $1200.00 screamed at me the entire time. I told him I wanted the stuff i agreed to and signed in writing..he said that was not available. He said they were sending all my info to my payroll department for wage garnishment to collect what I owe. How did they get my payroll info?? What the heck can I do... i can not afford for them to take over $1200 from me.

I have a question, I had a bill that got sent to Bass and Assco for collections, and we set up payment and and paid them off in 3 months. This was about 4 years ago, now the original company who sent it to collections is demanding payment, saying they never recieved anything, and now they are demading payment again. Any ideas on what I can do?

I recently pulled TransUnion to make sure none of the pdls were on there. I now notice that there are 2 entries that are older than 7 years and that were discharged in a previous BK that are still listed. There are also 2 entries that show open that were paid more than 4 years ago. What do I do to have these removed???

Hello. I am new to this forum and actually have just stumbled on it. I have signed up with a company called PDL assistance inc. they do debt settlement for payday loans, which I have several of. I was curious if anyone else has had dealing with them.

Where does Chase Bank send their charge-off accounts?

I'm sure if this is the correct forum to ask this, however I'm behind 1 payment with Capital one and can't really make a payment until Janurary. Fee's are piling up fast, do you know if they will work with you?
