With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan, it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you agreed to with The Anasazi Group. You are a citizen of IL, however the contract was not made in IL.

Wondering if anyone has experienced this recently? Got a call today from Valerie Thompson with the "legal division" 877-629-1155. Left me a message stating that she has been ordered to process documents to be served. I did call and spoke to here and she stated that Fox Enterprises has hired them to mediate to prosecute for fraud and or cold check charge. (I live in KY. My dealings with Fox is another story..) I didn't give them any information about me and simply told her that it would be ok to process the summons to be served as we should let it got through the court system here in KY.

A huge thank you to this forum!! In a matter of two days, I got three PDL to be marked PIF, one was even a tribal loan. I am so happy to have my paycheck deposited without instant withrawal of 25% of it. I can finally pay some bills. I was able to get PIF without closing my bank account as well! All of my PDL were grossly overpaid, so that might be the reason why. Now I am working on getting my overpayments refunded. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I live in NJ and had a mortgage on a house that was in MI with a company based in CA. Due to unfortunate circumstances in 2007 I offered the house to the mortgage company who just told me to put it up for sale and then they stopped sending me bills and did not contact me. In 2011 the house was foreclosed due to unpaid taxes by MI. But the debt is still listed on the credit report as out for collection. Would NJ statute of limitations apply or MI statutes or CA statutes? For the removal from the credit report. Or should this have been removed due to the foreclosure superseding the debt?

I called about closing a US cc in Jan 2011 for $75. The person on the phone said to wait 10 days to get the final interest. I did. I called back, paid in full and left the US for the next 2 years. Now I have received bills stating I still owed $2 (yes TWO dollars) in interest, but since that was 2 years ago, they've added hundreds of dollars in penalties. I called the co & also wrote explaining the situation and even told them to check the so-called recorded voice conversation I had - I even gave them the dates. They refused. I told them I'll die before I send them a cent.

I posted the response from Plain Green they accepted my payment arrangements for the remaining principal amount only :) Now, I received a response back from creditprotection depot for mycashnow... it's a basic letter stating that they are willing to settle the account for the principal amount of the loan. However, what I was trying to do was apply previous loan with them.
