I need help. I have been reading at this site for most of the last evening and now into the wee hours. I am in KY and have 5 store front pdl's and one internet pdl. I spoke with a counselor on the phone last evening, but now am shaking in my boots--so to speak. I was unable to close my account before today, but have withdrawn all the available funds except enough to cover the insufficient funds fee. I am going to the store front pdls tomorrow or sat and I'm really worried they will not agree to work with me. What am I supposed to do? Just walk out of the store or what? HELP :?

for a loan of $225, I paid $680 after totaling it up from bank Statements. Now they are asking for $435. Omar Shan (where do they get these names) called my job and my home 10 times (I got caller ID) asking for a payment. I filed a cease and desist two months ago,revoked wage assignments they may have (and since they are a paperless company(or so they say), the payroll and legal dept at my job will not comply with a verbal wage assignment). I complained to the BBB, FTC, NV State of FIN. Institutions.

AMO Recoveries out of Norcross, Ga sent me a letter saying that I needed to come clear on a $2583.84 debt from 1995. They say I didn't file taxes that year. I advised the agent that during that time I was going through hard times and wasn't sure if I filed or not. The letter stated that if I didn't notify them within 30 days, the debt would be assumed valid. I did however recover a W2 from that year and it showed I payed 560.00 into State taxes that year... what's going on. what can I do to get these people off my back.

does anyone have a link to a letter that can be sent to the bureaus to request details of the verification process? Do you have to ask for it, or will it be provided automatically?

I have not paid CashnetUsa.com and they keep calling me at work. I work at a retail store and am not supposed to get personal phone calls. I have told the person from Cash Net USa to call my cell phone only and she continues to call me at work. How can I stop the calls? I live in Florida and I have paid off Geneva Roth once and have paid so many extension fees I am closing my account so they can't get anymore of my money. I hear they are a difficult company but I owed $260.00 and have already paid $500.00 just in extension fees.

Well, I have a bench trial tomorrow. I have posted before, and it got so complicated I had to get an attorney. BUT- he is unavailable for court tomorrow!!!! I filed a answer to the complaint myself, and sent a letter to the plaintiff to validate (my discovery request) The plaintiff never validated or produced the documents, but they did move to strike my answer (I assume to get a default judgement.) I am going into court tomorrow and I am going to respectfully request for a continuance because my attorney was unable to attend and also because the discovery is not complete.

how do you find private individuals who will lend large sums when you have a great credit rating?

I defaulted on several payday loans because I couldn't keep up with all of them and my hours got cut alot at work and I'm behind two months on all my bills and can't even pay those. One of the companies called me and said they were sending my checks to the DA and prosecuting me for writing hot checks, even though I wrote them with intentions of paying them. I just fell on hard times. Can they do this even tho some of the practices they do are illegal, like allowing rollovers which are illegal in Texas. How can they prosecute me when they're in the wrong too?
