Roughly 6 months ago I took out a $7,000 loan with 22% interest for 5 years to make some house repairs...spending money..etc and thought I could afford the $220 per month payment. Well I should have thought about it twice because I can't. Turns out i'm living bare bones! :( What can I do??

To all those who remember who I am....And to those who have NO CLUE who I am.. Things have been crazy in my life, but I want to catch you up on what's been going on, and why I basically fell off the face of the Earth. The last time I was here, I had been interviewing for a supervisor position at my job. I was promoted to Supervisor in April, and hoped to get an earlier shift. That did not happen, and I am still working 4pm-Midnight. Work keeps me insanely busy, and it is very stressful.

I have seen in several posting that Texas has a time limit for answering a request for validation. I was woundering what it was and were can I find it? Thanks for the help!!!!

Can an attorney acting as a debt collector add attorney's fees to a debt? Here's the stats based on the paperwork I have: Letter from 2005 from a CA has balance as $1,849.27 Summons Issued 5/06 from attorney debt collector has the following: Demand $2,179.63 Summons Fee $32 Mileage $6 Attorney's Fee $58.59 Total: $2,276.22 I sent a letter to the OC 5/06, trying to set up a payment plan, but they never responded. I also sent a letter to the attorney disputing the amount $2,276.22.

I have an old Dell Financial Account that I decided to take care of. I contacted Dell for principle, balance, etc several times with no answer. Finally I decided to dispute with with CR's and the account disappeared about 1m ago. Just this weekend a new CA appeared collecting for Dell... If Dell couldn't validate and was deleted this in CA should be the same right? Do I dispute this with Transunion (the only report it is showing on) or the CA?

I'm in the trucking industry & this time of year is our busiest with trying to get freight from point A to point B & getting drivers home for the holidays.
