i have a pdl from advance America. i am from Alabama and i was served papers on the loan. i think the next step is wage garnishment. any advice? the loan amt total is 617.50 plus 54.00 court costs

I was getting calls from Chase & told them I'm in a debt management program. I told them to call the debt management company, but they insisted they don't. But after I called them, the calls from Chase stopped.

I live in California and I just got served this morning a summons for credit card debt from October 18, 2000 that was sold (supposedy) to cache llc. Apparently the company is suing me for this debt and is wanting to collect over $2000. I thought that I had paid this debt off... I don't have the kind of money that the suit is asking for... attorney fees for the plaintiff, interest, cost of the suit and whatever else the court deems as proper. I am not exactly sure what to do. The paperwork says that I have 30 days from the time of being served to file a written response...

Can someone get assistance with this: brother meets girl, she has a loan for a car that her ex wrecked and wouldn't pay for. she not working now brother paying for the car in which the collection agency is taking out of his bank account..my brother has never even seen the car. the girlfriend co signed for the loan and got stuck with the payment...what can be done here?

All I need to know is if getcashman.com is licensed in another state. I tried to get in contact with them and they ignored my emails and continue to take out money. They've taken $525 for a 350 loan. Please let me know if I can get them off my back.

Can someone of you please tell me why do lenders consider my gross income while calculating debt to income ratio and why not net income, when they know that thats what i will have while paying my debts.
