When I purchased my car I was asked for two references. I fell behind on my car payments. I am now only 1 1/2 payments behind. I have been in contact with Capital One Auto Finance at least once a week. I don't usually answer the phone more that that when they call because the call several times a day, even after I've talked to them and I work all day. Now they are contacting my references. My mother is one of them and she says they call at least four or five times a day.

I've fallen victim to payday loans/advances over the last 18 months and have put myself and my family in financial jeopardy. I get harassing calls at home, at work, and to my friends and family. The cycle needs to stop. I've paid what I owe and I don't feel legally obligated to be hunted down for more.

I have a co-worker that went to the hospital for one day and he did not have insurance, now he is receiving collection letters that total about $8000. They keep calling him about 3-4 times daily. Can I please get some advice on what should be done next, I really never dealt with medical bill issues. Thanks

Hi everyone. I just got a call from NCO at work. They are attempting to collect on an old Capital One credit card that I defaulted on about 2 years ago. I asked for them to send me a debt validation letter. The rep placed me on hold and came back and said..."well, you see, we really can't do that because we are a third party collector." I then said..."well, until you can then I don't wish to discuss this any further." And then I hung up on him. Did I do the right thing???

Please Help I live in the state of Texas I have 4 payday loans, it seems like a never ending story 1. Paydayok loan -amount 500.00 - payed so far -this a internet loan - i have had this loan since 5/18/06 and have refinanced lots of times. ameriloan- amount $250.00 - payed so far 300.00 in just interest - internet loan- to pay off it is $ 325.00 discount advances - amount $300.00 - payed so far in just interest $93.75 - internet loan - to apy off $352.50 have one with loanshop/douglas not sure on this one. plese help me and let me know what i can do and what i cant do. Gonna try this one more time :evil: Ok I went on vacation last Friday and got home last night. No we didn't get to go fishing :cry: thanks to mother nature and her wind and rain. But I did make it out to my treestand, no I didn't get anything, but I did see lots just didn't get "the shot" I saw 2 does and their fawns (the little ones were so cute) I did have a shot at one of the does, but I WILL NOT shot my bow at ANY deer that has a baby with it, no matter what the size of the baby is. That would be just like someone shoting me or hubby in front of my kids.

I was just telling my husband about the refund we'll supposedly be receiving from Upfront. If/When we get the check..is it wise to deposit it into my checking account? When they get the return check won't they be able to see the endorsement, bank name & checking account # & then actually have my signature on the back. Who the heck knows what these illegal jerks would do with that information. Where else could I go to cash the check??
