How do I delete this ad from the right side of my screen? I makes it impossible to read the answers.

What is the best way to pay a CA personal Ck or money order. I was going to open a new checking account to make payments to CA's only. So they would not get a check from my regular account. Would this be a good idea?

Not long ago my husband checked on some credit and they talked to him about some debt on my report. I was devorced 9 years ago. There were 2 debts one was a credit card the other the mobile home we lived in. They were both given by the court over to my ex to pay. It shows up on my credit report as a bad debt. Do I need to mail each credit reporting place a copy of the devorce papers stating that these debts were given to my ex? Will that help my credit?

I live in Massachisetts and my debt is $66.000

Hello, I have a charge-off on my equifax credit report from 11/2002. I think I have a couple of disputes on this entry if I understand correctly. ********** 1. Charged off account but it still shows a balance. 2. Date of Last Payment: blank 3. Date of Last Activity: N/A ********** Also I have read that you should dispute one issue at a time. Dispute the first wait for the results and dispute the second if necessary. Is this the best way to dispute an entry? Thanks, Scott S.

I was looking for some input or opinions on Lexington Law for credit repair. I know most of you are going to tell me that they can't do anything that I can't do myself, but the truth of the matter is, I have tried to do this myself, and I have had some success, but overall not much. I tried the DV route, disputing route, etc. I have gotten maybe three or four things deleted in the last 3 years! :shock: Anyway, if anyone has dealt with them or a similar credit repair agency I would love to hear your opinions. I am way behind on paying my Home Depot account. I've made payments both July, August, and September however payments was WAY below the minimum due(paid like $10-20 on a minimum $100+ due). Citibank keeps caling harrasing for bigger payents. Is there much they can do, like get a upoena against me? I am making payments, just not enough for them. I thought by at least making some sort of payment I am showing my intent to pay; I just can't afford to make the big payments right now. Thanks!

ok I got a letter from a storefront pdl (I'm in Texas) and it said you signed to pay this loan back, yada yada and your cks came back, and come into the store to pay your loan back. Ok, here's the question - and please if I got something mixed up, straighten me out. Don't they have to put in the letter the legal mumbo jumbo something like: "this is an attempt to collect a debt any information to collect a debt will be used" just wondering because it was not in there or does it matter? thanks!!
