I also had my Credit report pulled by my Lender and this Collection Agency appeared on it for $36.99 Dollars from an AT&T Account. I have never received a Letter or Phonecall from them and when I contacted them to inquire about it they were very rude and claimed that they been sending me Letters to my Address, I hung up on them.

First off this webstite has been very helpful in the past few years. Thanks to everyone for posting and answering. My wife and I are down to our last credit card to pay off. We were with a law office and they settled 3 of 3 debts which saved us over 20000. During that time we kept one Chase acct. in case we had an emergency. Well, that one has gone late and has recently been charged off. I called Chase and they said Unifund collection agency currently has the account. I asked if I could deal with them and they said no, the account is sold.

This was the title of the list of bills I just wrote down. I have spent over 1/4 of a miilion dollars in the past ten years on "stuff". That money came from various sources (car accidents, etc.) and as of right now I am about $75,000 in debt (car loan, students laons etc. ) The problem, however, is with my credit card debt which is about $30,000. Mind you, my credit report appears to be impeccable- never a late payment. But I don't make enough at work to pay my bills, so after depleting my savings to supplement my income, I am looking for a solution.

hello its julespooh I just received an email from zipcash but my loan is through netcashusa they say that they don't have a location in Pa yes but are licensed throuhg new mexico and are offering me a onetime offer of getting to them 410 by sept 25th ( first it was nov something) - my loan is now up to 810.00 accoruding to them - it's a 400 loan - they were charging me 120 every other week - on aug 31st they tried to debit 145 ( fee + ret fee+ plus 120.

Okay. Now I'm having an "mperez" day. Or should I say week or two rather than day. I'm getting depressed now. Since last week, I've had a wage assignment, a collector I needed to ask for validation, a collector who reported me to the credit bureaus, and now a store front that is giving me NO way out. I borrowed the money from my family to pay my internet bill so I wouldn't get "cut off" from this site. So I have to pay that back. I owe a friend for paying the rent for me one month. I'm still paying that back. The electric company just sent a "disconnect" notice for next week. WTF.

My debt counselor said that they will re-age the accounts in three months. What is that supposed to mean?

I have also been a victim of PDL and closed accounts. I actually had a call several to be exact, telling me I had to wire money by the end of the day to take care of this debt. They added 3x the amount of the loan to what I owed and was not willing to take payments. They threatned to have a police officer arrest me for internet fraud and a slew of other charges....He told me I couldnt run from them and they would make sure I was fired from my job and no telling what else was going to happen if I ddnt wire them this money... This has been the worse day ever..

Well i successfully signed up for a debt consolidation program. My credit cards will be paid off in three years from now :) My question is, since they are closing all the accounts, what will happen with my credit score trought these three years? :?:
